Sugar Pie Baking Company

Sugar Pie made 4 pies for my wedding. We got cherry, berry, peach, and key lime. All 4 were delicious and looked great. Jennifer was kind enough to deliver the pies directly to our wedding venue. When she brought them over 3 of them were still warm as if she had just pulled them out of the oven. She was easy to work with, responsive, and reasonably priced. If you’re looking to do pies at your wedding I would highly recommend Jennifer!

Jen is delightful and her pies are outstanding! I ordered a pie for a dinner party over the Memorial Day weekend. Coming from SF, traffic was horrible and I called to tell Jen that I’d be a half hour later than originally planned to pick up my pie. She was no nice and letting me know, «no worries». All our guests at the dinner party LOVED her apple pie, not too sweet or tart. As a small business owner myself, she’s on track to a very successful business and she also understands customer service… a lost commodity in today’s business world. Thank you!

My 50^th Birthday was last weekend and Im a pie lover !!! My lovely Fiancé found Sugar Pie here in San Rafael… well to keep it short and sweet !!! The apple pie was the best I have had !!! The flavoring, tartness and texture !!! Love it !!!

Jennifer just made an amazing cake for my son’s birthday. It was a work of art. Of course these cakes are a bit of a splurge, but the wow factor is worth it every once in a while. Cake was delicious and made for a very memorable birthday.

I went to a birthday party for a classmate of my daughters and was blown away by the gorgeous cake and cupcakes, themed for carnival. When it was time to order a cake for my own daughters birthday, I immediately remembered the carnival cakes. I got the information and contacted Jennifer. She was so helpful, interactive and creative. She worked within our theme and colors and created something beautiful, memorable, and delicious. I will go back to her next year, and recommend her to anyone, as long as they were looking for something amazing.

How could I not rate? Jen was as delightful to work with as my cake was to look at and eat. All around great experience.
One of my best friends and I are born 7 days apart. So this year we decided to have a joint birthday party. Something else we share in common– other than a Jan birthday is our love for Harry Potter.
I spent an evening researching different HP cakes that have been made. I saw a lot of glasses, sorting hats, broom… you know things like that. I wanted something different. I finally settled on the «Felix Felicious» potion seen in book 6.
It was a huge hit at our birthday. Everyone loved it. Best part is I didn’t even tell the other birthday girl so that was an awesome surprise for her. As you may or may not know the «Felix Felicious» potion is also known as «liquid luck.» I definitely got to tell my bestie «I wish us all the luck of the world» as I revealed the cake. It was a great moment. Jen put a golden luster powder that created a wonderful sheen on the cake’s top coating. I’m so glad she made the cork top too! She even added little extra touches like making the label burnt looking, adding the hanging chain, and the iron around the bottles lip.
A little more about Jen. She talked with me all week via email about my cake. It was amazing. I was so concerned with the outward appearance of my cake I didn’t even think about what I wanted it to taste like until Jen made a point to ask. I changed my mind a few times, but she was patient and after talking a bit more together I settled on chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse. AND IT WAS SO GOOD. The cake was a medium body and the mousse was light and airy. It was heaven in cake bites.
So to sum up. My cake looked great. It tasted great. Jen was always so nice. She really cared about the product she was making and about my needs.

We recently purchased a Cake from Sugar Pie Baking Company for our babies’ gender reveal party. The cake was delicious and design was better than expected. Will definitely return for future occasions!

You couldn’t ask for better desserts. Jen has a huge variety of delicious, mouth watering sweet treats. You can’t go wrong with her macaroons, cupcakes, cookies and delicious pies! And I think they taste even better when you order them for the holidays.
