Sling It! Lacrosse Co

Very well run operation. In the short time my older son has played lacrosse, I have made three visits to Sling It! and each time Isaac has given my son his full attention. He is patient, helpful, and does not try to sell you stuff you don’t need. Isaac knows lacrosse — inside and out — and gives great service.

Stopped by this afternoon to upgrade my sons stick and head after two years of wear.
The crew here at this local store could not be more knowledgable about the game and the gear they sell. Top notch service and they are great with young kids. I think this might be the only if not one of the few stores in the Bay Area that specialize in LAX. Keep up the good work guys!

These guys are fantastic. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They always take time to talk to me and my son about whatever questions we have. They have great equipment and if they don’t have something, they make sure to get it for you. Went today and they didn’t have something we needed (helmet stickers– no big deal). The offered to restring my son’s stick for free, and said they would make sure to order the stickers… Amazing!!! Seriously great service.

Went here today to get gear for our 7 year old. 1^st year playing lacrosse so we needed the works. Gina (one of the sales associates) set us up with a package, it was an awesome deal and Gina was great… very knowledgeable, didn’t try to sell us stuff we didn’t need, she was very friendly, and she was very patient with our questions. Thanks again and we’ll be back soon.

Sling it is a great place to go if you need advice and recommendations on gear.
Although others have mentioned their great selection, i’ve noticed they are often low or out of important items. I recently purchased some equipment for my son and one of the items was marked SALE with a big orange sticker.
However, once I got home I removed the sale sticker and the regular price was exactly the same! Kind if cheesy!
There are other places like T&B just down the street that wont have the expert LAX people, but the prices are lower. So if you know what you want it might be worth looking around a little. I can’t say I’m not happy with Sling it, but I cant give it 5 stars either.

Ah tis the season to gear up for Lacrosse… except The Bay Area is dreadful for finding equipment. Yes stores carry a smidgen of this and a smidgen of that.
Well no more… Sling It Lacrosse… is the savior!!!
Great selection of sticks, pads, cleats and various and sundry ancillary items for the game.
If you need it for yourself or your kids… this is the place.

Okay, I don’t have too much to compare them to, other than Lombardi and Big 5… however, the guys at Sling It realliy know their Lacrosse gear.
My son recently got on a lacrosse team and he needed to be kitted up. the whole shebang. Helmet, gloves, shoulder pads. the works. Anyway, I shop online and his mom goes to every sporting goods store here and the East Bay. Man, lacrosse stuff is hard to find. And expensive.
So, after a few days of looking into options, and shopping at other stores, I came across Sling It… and it all changed. They are one of the few dedicated lacrosse stores anywhere around here, and carry a full range of gear for most any level.
Since my kid is relatively little, and will be growing, I went with their $ 199 starter package. It prices out at $ 50 around $ 50 less than you can get the stuff for at their store, and around a hundred bucks cheaper than piecing a comparable package together online or at the local sporting goods stores.
And the staff are knowledgeable through experience. HTe kid who helped me at first seemed a bit young (which sometimes makes me question their knowledge… even though it shouldn’t) but he had answers to all of my questions and was willing to let me bring my kid back in to have everything fitted to him. (His coach was willing to do it, so I won’t have to make the drive)
Anyway… if you have lacrosse needs, I recommend them for pricing, selection and knowledgeable sales staff…
