Nice burritos and excellent service. Easy parking and good value for the price. I will eat here again.

Expensive. Ordered alacarte Tacos, ended up being $ 4.50 each. So for a meal I thought would be around $ 10 with a drink, ended up dropping $ 20. Yikes!
The place is nice, staff is friendly, tacos were decent.
If your looking for your casual cheap Taco and go… Go next door to the Sonora for cheaper grab and go.

Sat in the booth between the two dining rooms. Had a cockroach drop off the shelf above our table into our tortilla bowl!!!

Truly fans for many years! Local, welcoming family spot for great Mexican food and wonderful customer service. Our favs are the burritos and the chips and salsa! Leo and Geoff are the owners and are truly the best people.

Favorite Mexican restaurant. Food has always been good and staff has always been friendly! Beware the burritos — they can be big! Shredded beef burrito was awesome! This is our «go to» place!

We love Panchito’s! The food is delicious and the owners and staff are super nice. We are not mexican food experts but it tastes authentic to us. They give generous portions. My favorites are the wet chicken burrito with red sauce and the tilapia tacos. Hubby loves the carnitas tacos. We usually do take out, but we’ve sat in the restaurant. It’s relaxed casual atmosphere with friendly people. Definitely recommend going here!

Panchitos has been around since the 80’s when I grew up in Marin. It’s been a staple. They will custom make whatever burrito you want. I always ask for a custom breakfast burrito– eggs, rice, guac, pico de gallo and carnitas. Their salsa is AMAZING and the chips are excellent. I’d rather eat here than at a big chain. And always use CASH. Keeps the local economy healthy.

legit mexican. ask them for hot salsa and they asked me how hot? what? that’s awesome, I said super hot and it was super hot. shrimp diabla not so hot like other spots but add the custom salsa on the tortilla and you’re good. margarita lime and strawberry both refreshing.

Popped in here for dinner while on a business trip. Very casual atmosphere. Not a big place, kind of U shaped with the kitchen in the middle. I had the Chile Verde with corn tortillas and pintos in place of re-​fried beans. The pintos were good, firm and not overcooked. A little Tapatio gave them some bite. The chile verde was great, very tender, served in a bowl full of a nice flavorful green tomatillo sauce. I couldn’t finish it all. My friend and I polished dinner off with a pitcher of sangria which was ok.
It’s a nice local place and the food is good. I’d come back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Got a large «meatless burrito» and it was in fact quite large– made two meals actually! It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. There was a bit too much guac which made it super moist. It also could have used some spice, like pico rather than plain tomatoes.
The chips were nice; thin and and seemingly fresh. They only offered one type of salsa, though, and it was bland. I’d have given them 4 stars if it weren’t for this.
The server was very polite and prompt with the water and the check.
Prices are a bit steep in my opinion. About $ 10 for the large burrito, $ 7 something for the regular. But then again, it IS in Marin so perhaps that’s to be expected.
I’d eat there again if I were in the area or invited by friends, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

This place is a little bit hidden. I was expecting more of a taqueria, but I was pleasantly surprised that this place is more of an actual restaurant. I ordered the 2 item lunch special and my coworkers both ordered the taco salad. As far as the food goes, it was decent. I ordered a crispy chicken taco and a pork burrito. The lunch special also came with refried beans and rice. I think it was only 8 bucks or so. Our server was super friendly and polite. I think that along deserved an extra star. The actual food was good, nothing extraordinary, but it definitely hit the spot.

This is a review of lunch with a colleague at Panchitos Restaurant in San Rafael (Terra Linda).
The staff was friendly and effective. We were quickly shown to a table. Soon after, our order was taken. And before we knew it, our food had arrived.
The ambiance is pretty basic. But there are certainly some accents to denote the Mexican inspiration for the restaurant. It is a comfortable space.
Deluxe Burrito Lunch (Large fl our tortilla fi lled with beans and your choice of beef or chicken and topped with red sauce, sour cream, lettuce and tomato. Served with rice and beans.) — This was my lunch. The dish was freshly prepared. The burrito was flavourful. The beef was tender. I really enjoyed the refried beans. It was very filling.
The only negative I would note is that there was a little too much shredded lettuce piled on top of the burrito.
My colleague picked up the tab. So, I do not know the cost of the entire meal. However, my burrito platter was $ 10.95
Overall — Panchitos serves hearty freshly prepared Mexican food. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The service is friendly and effective. Good stuff all around. Panchitos is the kind of restaurant that easily works its way into a weekly lunch rotation.

This is one of the better places for Mexican food in the Terra Linda Area.
They have great lunch specials for under $ 10, or if you want to spring for a little extra, $ 12! Friendly service. Pretty good place for your hour lunch.
