Kia McCall is hands down the best waxer in the Bay Area. Mind you, I drive nearly an hour just to visit her. Monthly. I am in total shock during my appointments. I believe she uses a hard wax, and for some strange reason her waxing methods makes the experience nearly painless. And I do absolutely nothing to prepare– no pain meds, no exfoliating, no breathing methods during the wax.
Another huge benefit to seeing Kia is how personable and easy it is schedule with her. I used to see a waxer in my area but with how difficult it was to schedule with her I ended up giving up and giving Kia a try. So maybe it was a blessing in disguise because I have had no issues scheduling with Kia whatsoever. You can text, call, or email her through her Styleseat website. I definitely recommend Kia to all my friends, and have even dragged my best friend for her first waxing appointment! Another satisfied customer!

Kia does great work, and is incredibly personable. I’ve never felt more comfortable and at-​ease while being waxed. Her space is really well-​designed, and Kia herself is super cool, really funny, and does a thorough, attentive job. It was possibly the least painless experience I’ve ever had, too, which is a big plus.
I’m also all about booking online, and her booking and payment system is flawless. She’s the best, and I’m recommending her to anybody looking for a good waxer.

I’ve been going to Kia for years for my waxing! If you want to have services done by a genuinely humble professional, Kia is the perfect person for you. Not only are her prices affordable, she has wax passes too! She’s been doing my eyebrows and brazilian since the beginning, when she worked at another spa, and I can tell you her skills are unmatched. Her schedule is pretty flexible as well, and one thing i LOVE is that I can book an appointment using the phone app Styleseat– which is nice because I don’t have to call and I can decide what my best options are. Not only will your eyebrows be on point, but you’ll have a wax master AND a new friend by the time you walk out :)

Kia is great. Very friendly, optimistic and makes you feel so comfortable. I got the Unilocal deal, which is awesome since waxing is pricey. I got a Brazilian wax $ 25 deal for $ 45. I believe her prices when up, check the website to find out.

Kia is great at what she does. She is warm, easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable throughout the session. She beats the competitor prices and keeps it reasonable, you just can’t get a better deal. I will definitely see her again when I go back to San Raphael area.

I have experienced at least seven different waxers within the past year, and Kia has been one of the best. Very meticulous and patient, she did not make me feel rushed or uncomfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and her friendly demeanor helped make my Brazilian *almost* fun! Plus it looks and feels great. I am so happy to have found her and will definitely be returning here next time.

The most comfortable waxing experience I have ever had. Kia is a kind, sweet, understanding woman. I am not the shyest but occasionally the downstairs maintenance makes me feel embarrassed. I hate all that weirdness about when to put your legs where. Kia is straightforward and gentle without being woowoo. You feel like you are just hanging out and also miraculously your unwanted hair is being removed. Casual isn’t all though: I am incredibly meticulous about my netherlands and upon further inspection she was not only quick and painless but completely immaculate. THANK YOU KIA! This is above and beyond the best experience I have ever had and as a grown-​ass (read: want the tiniest of triangles) Arab-​blooded (read; hard to maintain given constant unruly hair growth) woman, trust me, I have tried it all in terms of hair removal. THE BEST.

I just got back from a visit with Kia and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. She is a lovely person and so delightful to talk to, which is great because waxing requires some… distraction. She was very professional and efficient, and easy on a newbie to waxing. I will definitely be recommending her to my friends.

This was my second time getting waxed ever. I got a Brazilian. I have to say Kia is awesome! She was really fast, and got every hair. Tweezed the stubborn bastards even.
I had a kinda shitty day, but her attitude was so great; she had me laughing the whole time. Who knew getting fur ripped off your middly bits would put you in a better mood!

Okay ladies… I think that we can all agree that finding a great aesthetician whom we can trust with «maintaining» our lady parts is truly priceless!!! Kia is «the one». She’s meticulous in her work, yet puts you completely at ease during those uncomfortable moments… And positions (u know what I mean…;/)

For Brazilian waxes, I used to think I had to pick between a high quality job and affordable pricing. With Kia, it seems to good to be true but you get both! It was fast, as painless as I’ve ever experienced, and she did a thorough job and paid attention to detail. For only $ 45 (or less with a Unilocal deal) how can you say no?
As a plus, she has a warm and fun personality that made the whole thing go by so quickly. I had a blast chatting with her and left feeling great. I will definitely return.

I have moved to the bay over a year ago but only found Kia 6 months ago. I had been looking for a quality waxing professional for quite some time; even where I moved from I was never completely satisfied with my waxing.
I found Kia by accident. I hadn’t made an appointment; I assumed I could just show up and get my wax done. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, Kia was gracious enough to attend me. In fact she cut short her lunch to meet me!

I love Kia! She makes waxing easy and painless. And it’s super affordable and quick, I’m in and out for a Brazilian in less than 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend!
Plus I wanted to reschedule an appointment a couple hours before and she was super accommodating. Kia uses style seat to book appointments and you can automatically pay through the app which is nice – no digging in my purse for my wallet after a wax.

This is the best place to get a wax! I met Kia at the European Wax Center in the Northgate Mall in San Rafael/​Terra Linda.
She is fast, thorough, and shockingly inexpensive. With her talent and skill she could easily charge double! If you want flawless smooth skin you must try out Kia.
