Dunn-Edwards Paints

Our experience with the Dunn Edwards Paint store in San Rafael is tremendous. Melissa is outstanding with her knowledge, helpfulness and customer service. I am a contractor that needs wallcovering paste on a continuing basis. Paste is hard to find sometimes and with Dunn Edwards and Melissa stocking it in the store they have made my life easier. Melissa even delivers it to me the same day I order it. Their prices are competitive with the big box stores, if not better and way more convenient. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

I can not say enough good things about this paint store. I am always greeted nicely by the staff and I never have to wait for service. The color consultant, Melissa, is right on the ball and not only helps me get my type of paint, but her matches are always, spot on. Their emphasis on «customer service», is awesome, realizing my needs, asking the right questions, and filling my order in a timely manner. The manager, Jenna, runs a great store. What an amazing experience with Melissa, Kevin, Lloyd and the team — the service from beginning to end was unbelievable… they even delivered paint samples to me! I painted the interior and exterior of my house and it was only with the help of the team here that I was able to pull it off in such a short amount of time with such ease. I highly recommend this store and am forever a Dunn Edwards customer! :)

So I painted my house on my own (of course with a little help from friends and a wonderful boyfriend). Yikes! I didn’t know what I was doing and had a ton of questions since I was dealing with a very old stucco house that hadn’t been painted in ages. I did my research on consumer reports and every report hailed BEHR products. Seriously?!? Have you ever had a real painter use BEHR? Never! Plus, go to Home Depot and see how much help you get and how many different answers. A professional painter suggested DE so I traveled across to bridge to San Rafael to check out their assortment of colors with a ton of questions. Melissa and Kevin were extremely helpful and tolerant of all my questions. Even the second time when I came back and actually the third time. They were very responsive via e-​mail, phone and text. Melissa did some mock ups on a photo of my house and had Lloyd come out to offer his professional opinion based on the style and location of my house. Once I got samples on the wall I freaked out! Note: always try out a sample before the big project. The colors were all a bit close, but not exactly what I wanted. Lloyd was a saint and came back over to fine tune the color along with the accents. After a trying a couple more samples we got it right. I ordered the paint over the phone and they delivered it the next day to my house. What service!!! Thank you for all your help!

My experience at Dunn Edwards was an awesome one. We had just recently moved into a new home and needed many different colors and types of paint. Me and my girlfriend were total rookies in the paint world and our sales girl from Dunn Edwards, Melissa helped us tremendously!!! She was super kind and helpful every step of the way with all the supplies we needed to make our place looking great. Everyone that comes over asks us about our fantastic colors and we tell them to go to Dunn Edwards in San Rafael and so should you!!! And ask for Melissa!!!5 stars!!!

Super helpful paint company in reference to a home re-​modification project that I am working on in La Jolla, California. Dunn Edwards has a complete sales floor staffed with knowledgeable individuals. I found it remarkable that this particular paint company is very well known throughout all of California plus that it uses a universal purchasing where someone from one part of a state can set it up that a contractor will be able to purchase in another part of the state.
This seems to be a new store with brand new displays and lots of brochures for your uses.
If you have a paint job in either Northern or SoCal, Dunn-​Edwards have competitive prices and more than adequate paint qualities.
