Corner Office

Recently purchased a Workrite adjustable «desk» from Corner Office for our home. Fred Bernstein was extremely helpful in guiding me through the many feature options. Our space was limited so size was important and most places I looked didn’t offer much choice. I’m standing at our 2′ x 4′ desk with an adjustable keyboard tray right now, and my back couldn’t be happier.

This place is great. I worked with Fred to get new furniture for our new office and he was nice, friendly and knew what he was talkin about. The prices can’t be beat and they get shipments regularly so you get your orders fast.

I just bought some furniture for my new office from Fred Bernstein at the Corner Office 125 Mitchell Suite 6. It was a great experience and they have a wide variety of things and prices were very competitive. I highly recommend them and especially Fred who made the process fun and easy. He knows his stuff and found very stylish items for my office. Very excited to get them.

I went to the Corner Office to buy a desk and office chair. Fred was very helpful and knowledgeable. When my desk arrived 2 days later he helped me unpack it and load it in my car (since it didn’t fit with the box). He also lent me some padding blankets to avoid scratching the panels. Very happy customer!

Just like the first reviewer, I have been researching desk chairs for years and found it difficult to find somewhere I could try out the chairs. Bill showed me 2 chairs that he felt would fit my home office needs. I really appreciated him walking me through the features and adjustments… he really knows his products. I took home some sample books so I could determine what upholstery to get. Bill was out when I returned the next day to place my order so Fred placed the order and even called the manufacturer to verify that there was not an up-​charge for what I wanted. Great service, products, and prices!

It wasn’t a big purchase — just a desk, return and bookshelf — but I received excellent service and very good prices. Delivery was on time and extremely professional. Highest marks.

Bill is a terrifically helpful person — explained everything about the chairs, adjustments, etc even though I was buying a single chair rather than dozens. This is the place to go to buy a chair — great inventory to test and total customization available.

I have spent about 2 years researching chairs, and like a dolt I courted disaster by choosing one of my top 5, then ordering it from Sit4Less. Frankly, how can you buy a chair without sitting on it?
I spent a long time looking for a place to buy a proper office chair. I saved up for years, and was ready to drop a ton of money on something perfect. I was in a Staples in San Rafael — staff everywhere, but like a flock of birds at any of these «box» stores, like Best Buy, etc… they seem to all part and disappear as you approach them. I was looking at obviously crappy chairs priced too high, so I pick out the phone, search google, and whammo… Humanscale, RFM, etc… they carry them all (but do not carry the overpriced, passé Herman Miller stuff). Fred stopped his busy day to talk to me… a random guy who isn’t buying endless furniture for an office… but just a chair. He showed me a few, let me sit on a bunch… and I made my choice within 5 minutes. What’s more, sitting on them made me choose a chair I NEVER would have thought to pick… and I would have ordered one based on name brand and that it’s expensive, like an idiot.
Fred helped out, found me something perfect, talked me out of some expensive options that weren’t necessary for me, and talked me into a better upholstery at the same price, basically. An amazing experience, and I should have done it years ago.
If you need a task chair, a desk chair, an office chair… this is the only place to go. Not Office Depot, not Staples… just here.
Also… it was 50% the price I thought I would be paying… so he led me to the best chair for me, and it happened to save a lot of money. Hooray.
