Colonial Liquors of San Rafael

Colonial Liquors has all alcohol priced, mostly pricey. lots of selection. no parking lot. parked in disabled spot. yep, i’m disabled, just didn’t my placard yet.

–lots of body, smooth, slick bitterness, a great value

–didn’t see any meter readers but traffic was heavy, no parking.anywheres.

Going to this place for awhile to get stuff, but serious like any where else when you get your changed back after purchasing something, count the money or check the recipes. I was sober as hell, not on anything. Gave the cashier 20 buck, the item cost 3.90…walk half way almost at the entrance, i notice guy only gave me $ 6.10…missing the 10 bucks… when up and told the cashier, «i gave you a 20» the cashier sorry. gave the rest of the 10 bucks. the owner up in my face saying «you should check, you should check» … i did checked that’s why i came back. The owner got an attitude problem. Sh*t he ain’t right all the
might be an honest mistake or straight up crooks, stealing your money.
i see alot of liquor store like this, giving people incorrect money back!!! same happened to me at one liquor story in SF. stay sober and focus. check your money and receipt any time your purchasing. peace

I like this place for convenience. It is near my house, the prices are reasonable, and the dudes who work there are OK. You have a standard assortment of liquor/​convenience store items, but this is no 7 – 11. You come here for booze and smokes, maybe some porn if that’s your thing. No slushies.
