Despite its location in the cheesiest strip mall (Montecito) it does a pretty good Persian meal. How lame is Montecito? it was the first strip mall in Marin and it still sucks.
If you can find a parking spot then you’re in good shape. If you didn’t know they served a full Persian menu at Papillon it would be easy to miss. It looks like any other bakery/​café.
The owner is a friendly guy and his menu is a little more robust (Mirza Ghasemi, anyone with me?) than many other Persian restaurants around.
I’d give him 5 stars, but the kitchen is a little inconsistent.
