As good as it gets. Has it been 25 years I have been using her? Yea, the office is crazy and always 45 days out for an appmt. I have crappy insurance since «old Big Ears» decided to destroy the medical system and my new insurer will not pay for me to see Dr Ko, so I do a self-​pay, that’s what I think of her skills and I’m poor.

I’ve tried to call and make an appointment with Dr. Kobalter based on the positive reviews I’ve read here and have been put on hold numerous times, been disconnected, left messages and not received a call back… you name it. Really unprofessional! Maybe she is a great doctor, but I’ll never know because the office staff can’t seem to get it together to make an appointment.

I just saw Dr Kobalter for the first time, she removed a mole on my back, diagnosis was superficial melanoma, she went back in following the lab recommended protocol and the biopsy is now negative. She is a good communicator.

I firmly believe Dr. Kobalter saved my life. In a routine annual visit, she found a mole that to me looked completely normal, but after tested by her lab, came back as Melanoma. She caught it before it had a chance to spread. Another year and I would have been in serious trouble. I hate to even think about it.
She is thorough, friendly and does not rush through visits.
I always find all of the staff to be pleasant and comforting.

Have to agree Dr. Kolbalter is exceptional. Best Dermatologist I’ve been to in Marin in 30 years, communicative, takes time with you not rushed nor condescending. I went for an annual skin cancer screening.
She found an a minor issue I hadn’t mentioned and explained what the cause was and prescribed a medication.
Staff is great also although as typical with a Dermatology practice 30 days to get an appointment.

Well I just have to say that she has really impressed me.
Amy is a professional that cares about your health and well being.
The office staff is great and always tries to get you in close to your scheduled appointment time .
Everyone working there has been exceptional !
