Advanced Animal Removal

Outstanding service, communication, and job. A family, locally owned business. I had a family of skunks move into a crawl space beneath my house. Mark of Advanced Animal Removal patiently explained the process of catching, removing, and repairing the entry and damage they had caused. The problem was taken care of promptly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company.

If it were possible to leave no stars I would. Paid Mark over $ 500 for literally nothing! He came out for 10 minutes one day and set a trap for a skunk. We did not catch anything for several days. Then one day when no one was home, he came back and said he removed a dead skunk from under the deck. He provided no evidence and sent a picture of several canvas bags in the back of his truck. He demanded I give him a credit card over the phone for the removal and charged me $ 284 because he said he had to put on his haz mat suit. MARK IS A TOTAL SCAM! Please watch out for this guy, he’s out to just rip people off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR MARK!!!

We found Mark to be both ineffective and unprofessional. We used his services for over a year, and we STILL have the same problem that we originally called him about. After repeatedly charging us a lot of money (charging to set traps and again for picking them up), he insisted that he had done several «full-​house inspections» and that there were no access points for wildlife into our house. Then why are we still having the same problem? We had another service come out, and they found access points immediately that Mark didn’t find. We also found Mark to have very poor communication, and it would often take weeks’ worth of numerous texts and phone calls to get a response from him — not great when you want a wildlife problem taken care of immediately.

I noticed my lawn being torn up by some kind of animal almost every night for the last 2 weeks. It came to the point where I needed professional help for answers. Mark quickly came out and noticed a large amount of raccoon feces on one side of the yard. He then set up a raccoon trap in the area and the next thing you know, we caught 3 raccoons within a week. He resolved my problem quickly for less $ than I thought it would be.

We heard something scratching and moving around in our attic one night. Something way bigger than a rat, so I decided to call Advanced Animal Removal the next morning to set up an appointment. They were quick to respond and showed up at our doorstep that same day. They were very helpful! They did a full inspection and determined that we were dealing with a possum. They set up a trap and the very next day we caught our visitor. These guys ROCK and I will definitely use them again!!!

If I could give this guy no stars, I would. On the phone, he sounded knowledgeable. He gave me a price of $ 225 to come out and do a full inspection, set traps, and complete any minor repairs needed to fix small holes. He also said that for large critters, like raccoons and opossums, there would be a $ 125 relocation fee. When he actually arrived, though, he insisted on an additional $ 75 for about 5 minutes worth of work to fix a few small access spots on our house. So that initial $ 225 had escalated to $ 300.
He set traps for some rates he thought were in the attic, and we made an appointment for him to come back a week later to check on them. Never did he say that there would be a charge for removing dead rats — shouldn’t it be part of the service? What else are you going to do with dead rats? It makes sense that if you have a live animal, there would be a fee to relocate it, but if you’re setting traps for rats, then that should be part of the service. He called 3 hours after he was supposed to be at our house to remove the traps to tell us that something more important had come up and that he would be by the next day. Upon arrival, he told us that there were no rats that had been caught, but that we needed to pay him $ 125 just for showing up. Never before had this been mentioned. We told him to take the traps and leave.
$ 425 later, no animals were ever caught or removed from the house. This guy is a scam. I would never use him again.

For the past 3 or so months raccoons were terrorizing my back yard lawn digging for grub. After laying down ammonia, critter ridder and other such deterrents they kept coming back. I gave Advanced Animal Removal a call and 3 days later problem solved.
Great service with great work ethics.
