Quality Home Improvement & Repair, owner Mike Camarena. Thought we knew him since we were members of the same church. I asked him if he was a contractor and he said he is. I told him I need a licensed contractor and he said, «I can do this». Turns out he is a painter, handyman. He isn’t licensed to do anything but he lied and said he is. Then there was the issue of money. He lied about how much the floor & granite guy asked for their labor. The floor guy asked for $ 400.00, Mike told me $ 1,600.00. Mike picked the rest. The granite guy, he said he wanted $ 3,200.00 to cut the granite that we purchased. The granite guy wanted $ 1.000.00. Mike picked $ 2,200.00. He told me that his commission as a sub contractor. He’s a handy man, painter. Not a contractor to sub anything.
Mike Camarena is a liar, a thief and has no regard for his clients or for the laborers that work along side him. Mike feels superior to these other workers that were honest with me when I asked them to bd honest with me & to tell me what Mike paid them & I told them what he told me that he paid them. These men were very shocked that Mile could be so dishonest to me and to them.
Think twice before you make the decision to hire Mike. Another thing, he said that he’s on «Angie’s list», no he wasn’t but he is now. I’ve called them and gave them his info and let them know that he tells unsuspecting people that he is on Angie’s List and he comes highly recommended. Angie’s List now knows the truth about Mike & he isn’t highly recommended by anyone
