I was running an errand in the area so I stopped in here for lunch. They offered lunch specials but with a drink it’s over $ 10.00, so not too much of a special there. I got the orange chicken with the fried rice. It was good, nothing special. Panda Express has better orange chicken. It was quick enough and the seating is spacious. If I were in the area I’d come here again and try different menu items.

I thought I ordered from the MAZOLACANOLAOIL restaurant. So I went in for lunch since I was in the mood for Chinese food. I order their House Special from the Chicken entrees. I order this to go, when I end up at my office and pour out my food onto my plate, the first thing that came pouring out was nothing but oil then my food then more oil again. It was as if I asked for a container of oil. It was so greasy that I had to throw it completely away. If I would have eaten that, I would have gotten clogged arteries immediately and maybe a heart attack. I have never in my life encountered a meal that was overbearing with nothing but oil and it wasn’t even French fries. If your going to ever order from here, I would definitely inform them to please hold the oil.

So today my friends & I learned what Pick Up Stix was all about! None of us has actually tried this place and so we were all iffy about ordering. TBH, we were in a bit of a time crunch and we initially thought Pick Up Stix was just like Panda Express – a fast food. Turns out everything is made to order so give it 10 – 15 minutes. I guess it all worked out in the end. We were satisfied and impressed how quick the food was made. Since there was four of us in a group, we settled for the Family Value Pack $ 25.99. With tax, we ended up paying $ 28.14. That’s about $ 7 per person – not too shabby. It was filling and had a good variety included in the pack. It consisted of Brown Rice or Steamed Rice, Chow mein or Fried Rice, 2 Chicken Dishes, 4 potstickers and 4 cream cheese wontons. I highly recommend the Chow Mein, Brown Rice and the Crispy Honey Chicken. The Orange Peel was alright. If there is a next time, I’d want to try the Kung Pao Chicken. Food was a solid 3⁄5. Service: The ladies greeted us right away and elaborated on the menu after we mentioned it was our first time. They were patient and again, quick with pushing out our food. 4⁄5 Overall, everything wasn’t that special. Location was convenient because we needed a quick dinner before a movie at the Starlight Terrace. I’d categorize Pick Up Stix as a back-up choice whenever we’re in the area again.

I am boarder line 3 – 4 stars. They have good food a la carte, servings are for one person and you must purchase everything separate. Price range on the high end for a fast food restaurant. The lady who took our order was nice but not dint say anything. They have television to watch. Place was clean.

The food was so bad… My food was basically soaked in soy sauce… It was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Also, I thought the food was pretty pricey for take out style Chinese food. I recommend Lucky Star, which is located very close to this place. Lucky Star has so much better and cheaper food for the amount.

Eaten here several times before. Chinese food with a healthy california vibe. I like that it’s very clean inside. My faves are salmon brown rice and veggies plate. The salmon is North Atlantic wild caught not the farm raised product at most places. If u normally like pickup stix u will like this place

This place is not as good as it used to be, the portions were bigger and the prices were lower. I was very disappointed that there were no lemon slices next to the beverages(they used to have lemon slices all the time), how else do I flavor my water? Also, 10 dollars for an entrée is quite a bit considering I only get 60 percent vegetables and 40 percent meat, and yes, it comes with rice, but rice only costs so much. It is so disappointing that I have to sign up for their coupons in order to take advantage of their sales. Some people do not have the time. And being across the street from flame broiler, you would think they would step up their game with their prices/quality of food. And trying to get something to drink while an employee is changing the trash is not so pleasant.

uh no. I got it, its fast Asian food, but its not even good fast Asian food. Orange peel chicken, too sweet, with chunks of oranges in it, what the what! How about just some slivers of orange peel. Pad Thai… I’ve had better from the grocery freezer. Chicken egg roll, just no flavor. I’ll stick with Pei Wei.

I said so you make to go orders before you make the orders for the people in the restaurant? She said yes. We waited another 10 minutes and I went up and asked again about our order. She said oh there it is. its been ready the whole time. It was not hot. I asked for a fresh order and she said Oh we are I asked for an order of won tons. She said ok. We finished our meal and waited. I then asked about the wontons and she said we are bac logged. I shook my head and walked out. It is sat sep 19 at 6pm. her name is Kat. Very disappointed in the service today

It just went down a star I asked to speak to the manager. Because the coupon I had was expired. She wouldn’t even respond to me she had her back turned and was busy doing catering stuff the girl behind the counter was very nice but sorry my manager will not honor the coupon. I didn’t even get a chance to tell the manager that it’s against the law to not honor an expired coupon?

I don’t understand how cooked food is prepared faster then a salad! Really! And the salad is just okay after waiting 15 mins!

So I’ve been to pick up stix a few times, never really impressed nor fully put off. To say it is above average Chinese food is being generous. I will officially never be returning, after having been given the wrong food multiple times(though my receipt is the correct order) .I’ve come to believe it’s the careless cook. and the food quality, panda express is better. I can’t even swallow the meat at this place. I order shrimp chowmein so I can know for sure what I’m eating. and somehow I get a chicken, beef, and shrimp chow mein. Which to make things worse, loaded with meat, literally two shrimps. I also ordered egg roll which appeared to be crispy and delicious but we’re sadly just a goopy mess once you got into them, with no flavor. Frustrated to say the least. Please upgrade your food if your gonna charge close to PF Chang’s prices, or at the very least give me what I paid for(house chow mein is cheaper than shrimp chow mein!)

Food is good. Best to go for lunch specials. Better sized portions and cheaper. Staff are always really friendly and the food is hot. Only gripe is dirty tables. Hate walking in somewhere and seeing dirty tables and no where clean to sit. Good fast food though. Not the healthiest but still tastes good when you are in a rush. Food never takes that long so if you are in a hurry this is a good spot. Cream cheese wontons, house chicken are my faves.

I am not a huge fan of the pseudo Chinese food places. I’ll go to one if I’m hangry, and for this visit, I guess you can say we came here because it was close by, and we were hangry. This is a tiny place off Western Avenue and West Park Western, opposite end of the shopping center of Sprouts. We walked in and the girl helped us order our food. She said the entrees are about 2 portions per order, while the lunch combo is about 1 serving. We decided to share the 6 piece cream cheese wontons, and the order of House Special beef and upgrade to the fried rice. I was surprised that the order took longer than I expected. Yes, its cooked to order, but either we arrived when everyone else did, or, they’re just a bit slow. The food came out piping hot, and the employee gave us 2 plates to share the food. The rice was ok. I thought they’d use long grain Asian rice, not uncle Ben type rice, but, what do you expect for fakey Chinese? The beef was disappointing, and not my favorite. It was poor cuts of meat, or they over tenderized it with too much corn starch, because it was chewy. The sauce was very sweet, even sweeter than teriyaki, and it was thick and covered the meat… so much that the beef was black! It could have been road kill, and you’d never know. Although the cream cheese wontons were good, I’m still not a fan of fake Chinese. I’ll come back here in 10 years, when I’m hangry again. 4 stars for service, 3 stars for the food.

I was referred to this place while visiting Cali, and fell in love with the food! I liked it so much I went twice in two days. I had bourbon chicken one day and chicken teriyaki. Both were good but the bourbon chicken was my favorite of the two. I love the set up of this place, its hot fresh food made to order. Its definitly not your average chinese food spot, its better. The modern style set up and design of the place make it trump regular chinese styel restaurants by a mile. I will definitely be going back every time Im in town.

San Pedro seems to be lacking great food options so we wound up eating here while in the area. I know the chain and they consistently have great service and goof, made to order Chinese food that can be quite healthy. I love their salmon with veggies and rice, huge portion for $ 10 and enough to box up half for later which is what i did. I also like their egg rolls and wontons, I can never pass on adding some to my meal. Super clean and well kept, fast and easy, great meal we will be back.

Convenient location with plenty of parking. The food is better than average and can be healthy. San Pedro has few Chinese locations, so by default, this place is good in comparison. Today I had the firecracker tofu with white rice, it was plenty of food, and it was really good.

San Pedro lacks chinese food and because this city if forsaken of any authentic good chinese I decided to give Pick Up Stix a try, this location rocks! You wouldn’t believe it but they have a lunch special & the portion is simply perfect! Fills you up without any left overs((everything that is Shrimp on the menu RULES!))
