Payless Shoe Source

Call me ghetto-​fabulous if you want, but I love me some Payless!
I’m not one of those women who has a shoe obsession, but obviously I need to shield my tootsies. I have MONGO feet (size 11), and it’s often really difficult to a) find shoes in my size, b) find attractive shoes in my size, and c) not spend a fortune. Payless makes up to size 12W, and I have always relied on them to supply me with sandals, boots, and slip-​ons for every occasion.
I don’t care if they’re shoddily made or look cheap, I love the boots that they have here during fall. And they’re so cheap in comparison. I pay about $ 60 for a pair of knee-​high boots (flat or with heels) that I would probably pay over $ 100 for at a department store. In fact, I have a pair of Payless boots that I paid $ 50 for and then saw for $ 90 at Macy’s! And quite honestly, I go through boots so quickly, that I can’t be spending that much money.
And hello… BOGO? You have to love BOGO. Multiple times a year, Payless announces a period of time of «Buy One, Get One 50% Off,» which is amazing! My only complaint is that this USED to extend to ALL shoes in the store… now the shoes marked with a green tag of «Everyday Great Value» does not work with BOGO.
This location has great customer service, too. I have always had a salesperson who has been 100% helpful, attentive, and friendly. This location also has a great selection of larger sizes, including «wide» widths. Check ‘em out!

I think this Payless Shoes is smaller in square feet compared to other Payless stores. Therefore, the selection was a little bit sparse, especially my size shoes. All Payless Shoes are displayed by size with men’s shoes on the outer edges of the store.
However, this particular Payless carried a small selection of Hello Kitty merchandise. I was able to score 2 Hello Kitty scarves for $ 3 each b/​c they’re on clearance. There were Hello Kitty umbrellas that were very cute, but I restrained myself. The prices are fair.
The staff is nice, not really in your face, but are around if you need them. Plenty of easy parking and conveniently located in a plaza.
I’ll come back again to see if the Hello Kitty umbrellas go on clearance!
