Monica made it easy for me to realize my problems are far more than problems I created myself… I always had a deep feeling inside that I was a bad person, who could not do right if my life, even if depended on it… I quickly was faced with the fact, that the things I do stem from my relationship with my parents… and a lack of guidance., and support. I’m still learning to quit blaming myself and to quit trying to be good enough for everybody. To just be good enough for myself to be proud of my own accomplishments from re-​parenting myself and gaining some self worth. The first huge step forward was to realize I kept choosing partners that had characteristics of my mother who I never felt good enough for…
What we’re working on next is me not talking too much and telling people too much information… obviously a work in progress! Love her and her staff… I had to elaborate on my review for anybody who has been scared to see a therapist. Trust me she’s the one!
