Jolly Burrito

I love this place so much! This place has a lot of food on the menu and everything I’ve tried is delicious. My favorite is the taquitos plate comes with rice, beans and salsa with chips! I wish I lived in Sanpedro to eat here everyday lol

This is my go to place when I’m craving huevos rancheros and chili rellenos. Love the chips and salsa that come with it.

This place is like that hidden gem you pass everyday and yet never stop in, until finally you do and then become a fan. This review is long overdo. Been stopping in for their breakfast, the menudo is the bomb, as are the chorizo and eggs. So about a week ago we stopped in for late lunch early dinner. I ordered the asada torta and husband ordered carnitas burrito. Holy cow! Seriously the best damn tasting torta I’ve had in a long time. It was flavorful and so full of meat it fell out. The carnitas burrito was also good, filled with generous helping of meat, rice and beans. I’ll have to try other items.

I swear, I must eat here once or twice a week for lunch. It never gets old, at least not yet. Everything I have ordered on the regular for the past NINETEEN years (taquitos, tacos, enchiladas) is just so amazingly delicious and their prices are GREAT!
The girls are almost always very friendly and on top of things, too. Please never go away, Jolly B. I love you guys and gals!

Awesome!!! Let me just say the restaurant was really nice. The nice lady (forgive me if I said your name wrong) Maria greeted us as soon as we came in. The timing of the order was good we did not wait that long.
Let me just say when we got our food it was good size portions! My bf couldn’t even finish his burrito lol.
The food was delicious and inexpensive for the amount we got. I was really happy.
To top it off Maria was nice to change the tv for the other family so their son can watch a kids show. Super sweet.
Did I mention their flan is amazing???
Yesenia and Maria were really great host and I would definitely come back if I’m ever back this way. Thanks for everything!

I ordered off the website for delivery because I just had surgery. What I got was nothing like the picture. A girl named Brenda says it’s extra for wet, but never asked if I wanted wet. And when I asked her what she could do to make it right she said nothing. I had to drive down there or pay for an additional burrito. I drove it back for a refund and hobbled in, as I had surgery on my knee and can barely walk. I showed her the picture and she said she isn’t familiar with the online menu. Brenda should work on her customer service skills! She is terrible. I called Prontos and ordered from them

Staff was friendly but the price is not worth it.

So we have people over for New years and order their chilli relleno’s to be delivered. They don’t bring the right amount of ranchera sauce so we call them to make it right and get told if we want it we have to come get it. If I wanted to run out to get stuff I would of done that from the beginning not ordered delivery.

Thank you Jolly Burrito for bringing me back to life from one of the worse hangovers to date! I woke up wanting menudo but was in no condition to get up and get it! You most def saved me!
I will be ordering again in the near future! Lot’s of menu items to choose from!
Great food… great customer service… fast delivery!

Ordered a carne asada wet burrito with ONLY sour cream and guacamole for pick up. I received a carne asada wet burrito with BEANS, sour cream and guacamole. Called them to complain so they made me a new one. I went to pick it up and it was made the SAME way as before! So I had to drive back to complain! They finally made my burrito the right way! Lost my appetite and didn’t end up eating it! The cooks need to double check their damn orders.

Oh my gosh I agree with the reviews that say the chicken here does not taste like chicken. If you have ever ordered a jolly wet burrito, you know what I mean. It just has this weird smell and texture. I don’t know why. Am I eating chicken organs or something?
Anyway, the reason I am writing this review is because I am very disappointed that I ordered from grubhub and after I called Jolly Burrito to confirm about my order, they lied and said they did not ever get an order. OH REALLY NOW? I call 20 – 40 minutes after I place my order and these idiots want to say they never got it and they want to put the blame on closing time? The girl on the phone completely orchestrated that lie. F you Jolly burrito. Not only do you insist on closing early but you just lost a DAMN GOOD CUSTOMER!

Food is gross and the place looks like a dump. The restaurant next door has better tasting food than this.

Never ordering again!!! After an hour and 25 min, 5 min of being on hold and an extra $ 6 later, we got our food. Not correctly but at least we got it. Very disappointed. For half the price I could have went to the taco truck and enjoyed better food instantly.

This place is great!
The service is excellent and, when dining in, you are very well taken care of. The inside is VERY clean.
The food proportions are huge, particularly the burritos.
And the Salsa bar is excellent! This place is a must try.

My BF and I usually will order from Jolly Burrito if we’re too lazy to cook dinner or are craving some burritos. I don’t expect MUCH from Jolly Burrito since it’s really just one more Mexican joint with your typical burritos and tacos menu. The times we did order from Jolly Burrito, the food was acceptable. Not great, but good enough to eat.
Last night was different.
My BF got a torta with asada and fries. All he really had to say about the torta is that «it was gross» and couldn’t finish it. (And that’s coming from someone who usually cleans his plate.) He then complained the rest of the night that he felt sick and that he might throw up.
I got the Macho Burrito. It states that the burrito has asada, jalapenos, onions and cilantro. They failed to mention that they also throw in those vinegar or lime soaked carrots (which I already don’t care for). If it had been a couple, I wouldn’t mind taking them out and eating the burrito. There was probably 20 of those damn carrots in the burrito. So many to the point where it changed the flavor of my burrito even after I removed the carrots. Every bite tasted of vinegar and I eventually just gutted the burrito and ate the tortilla.
Sorry Jolly Burrito, but we’re hitting up Maria’s from now on for our late night Mexican food cravings.

I’ve been going to Jolly Burrito since I was a kid, and I can’t remember the last time I ordered anything but the basic bean and cheese burrito, why? Because it’s perfect!
This burrito is huge! It’s filled to bursting with delicious refried pinto beans and some sort of white cheese, and is the perfect temperature. Garnished with chips, and way hot salsa — you better hope you prepared yourself all day to eat this, because otherwise you’re taking half of it home with you.

Love the nachos and it doesn’t matter what kind, (cheese, chicken, beef or pork). While the reality of it is they are pretty darn basic, they are crazy good, especially the leftover, morning after, nuked variety. The chicken fajitas are tender and flavorful. I like the Super Jolly Chicken burrito as well. Order yourself two soft tacos Al Pastor, (they come with four corn torts), and you can make four small, yet delictably tasty tacos. The salsa they deliver with every meal, much like the nachos, gets better with age. I’ll also like to buy a quart of that very same salsa, add some shredded imitation crab meat and Mexican cheese and BAM!!! Absolutely rad crab salsa.
They deliver with a $ 12.00 minimum. Love this place…

So far I don’t have a bad thing to say about this restaurant, the food is delicious and the delivery people are really nice and fast. The dining room is more like a BBQ joint, but most places that hide good food are. I have been having a craving for anything that has carnitas meat and their food just hit the spot.
You won’t be disappointed. I’m going on my 5^th GrubHub order and they have been by far the best tasting and best value of all the restaurants local.
Oh ya, I love love love their flan!!!
