My son broke his tooth. All other local dentists had told us it would have been a 2 to 3 months before they could fix his tooth. Dr Chris was booked solid also. He squeezed us in, and took very good care of him. I strongly recommend him and his staff.

My 1 year old son had fallen in our backyard and knocked his first baby tooth so loose that it was barely hanging there. Not having a dentist yet for a baby who hasnt even gotten all his teeth I was freaking out! My Pediatrician recommended Dr Groat and we called and they were able to see us immediately. The office was beautiful and all the staff so friendly. I was a complete mess and Dr Groat was soo sweet and understanding. My son ended up getting the tooth pulled and Dr Groat was nothing but gentle. The whole situation was a nightmare but I couldn’t have been more happy and lucky to have landed in his office that day! I look forward to my future visits and its so refreshing to know we will be so well taken care of.

We drive from Orange County to see Dr. Groat because he is worth the drive! When my son was 4 we took him to Dr. Estella Sanchez on Los Coyotes Diagonal in Long Beach. She recommended capping some of his teeth, along with an array of other things that would require 2 visits with anesthesia as well as a huge chunk of cash. He was 4! I decided to get a second opinion and a friend suggested Dr. Groat. I made an appointment and did not mention any of the other dentist’s recommendations during our visit. As it turns out, his teeth were in great shape. 9 years later, we are still making the biannual trip to Pedro and my son has only needed 1 filling.
