More like candy mini box. For it being named after my heart, middle name, a place I would only dream of living in, it was small and didn’t have a variety of sweets. I think we should rename this to Candy Box. «Town» is not appropriate. I was lured in by the mere fact that it started with«Candy» and was even more excited when it followed by «town» but as I walked in, I realized I have more candy in my home/room than they did. I mean it’s okay, and sure you will get candy, but not a town load of candy. But if you have stinky breath from the sea food you just ate(it’s in Porto C) you can definitely find something here to sweeten up the aroma. XOXO CandyQueen O.

Good selection of old school, like Mallow Cup, Sugar Daddy, candy cigs, Necco wavers(we used to pretend they were communion wavers), and that black gum that is supposed to help with digestion. Wow. The fresh candy was lacking, and didn’t seem or look fresh. My guests tried a few pieces and said it was great. I thought the selection was so limited it made me think it doesn’t sell, so the owners have to make it stretch. Jaw breakers as big as your head! And a 3′ long gummy worm! I looked for the Bearded Lady but everything else you might find in a candy circus is here. I think if the owners had homemade Mexican candy they would sell it out every hour. 90% of the folks here are Latinos.

5 star for selection alone. Took my mom here and all the candies from her childhood were here. This place is very high so only get candies you can’t find anywhere else like Slap Stix, Jawbreakers or old fashioned Blow Pops. They also have every flavor of jelly beans and chocolate covered sunflower seeds. If you come to Pedro, don’t leave until you stop here!

after you eat your fill of seafood at ports o’ call, take a stroll through the half empty store fronts. candy town is right between the san pedro fish market and the rasta shop. candy town has all of the long lost candies you remember from your youth. gummy rats, candy cigarettes, pez, abba zabba, pretty much anything you can think of. over 20 flavors of saltwater taffy. gobstoppers, violet crumble, jelly bellys by the pound, and by the flavor. handmade chocolates, and a sugar free variety too. pretty pricey but isn’t reliving your childhood worth it?
