Trinta Park

This park is good as a Little League ballpark. It doesn’t offer much else other than a half court for basketball. The playground was not that cool. The park is situated between a neighborhood and the highway, so it’s kind of secluded. Sadly, it also kind of smelled.

Perfect play structure for little toddlers. actually one of the nicer more accessible structures for little ones I have seen. Unfortunately there is limited play for bigger kids. It is not enclosed, the freeway goes right by the park, and the sand looks a little dirty. Also, it is a little too secluded with no one else around. I do not see any available restrooms.

Back to back fields make this a convenient venue for tournaments, with parent bleachers next to one another on the outfield.
However a couple weird features add some challenge for the little leaguers:
1. Extended overhang over the plate area means infield pop-​ups are virtually impossible and all become «fouls»
2. Grass is extremely uneven and looks like it hasn’t been mowed in a couple weeks, so balls just seem to die in the infield and outfield

Trinta Park «Home of American Little League» appears to be a nice little park for budding baseball players.
While walking my dog there, I heard the constant hum from cars on nearby 92 and 101, felt the CalTrain clang by a few times, and saw a park visitor practicing her Hula moves.
Trinta features include:
* Playground (unenclosed but a distance from the street)
* Baseball diamonds
* Batting cage
* Bleachers
* Half basketball court
* Restrooms
* Dog waste bags
* Parking lot (with signs warning «Foul Ball Area — Park at Your Own Risk») and street parking
* Location near freeway exits and public transportation
I imagine it’s fairly hopping during Little League games, with the snack bar open and the bleachers full of cheering families. It was pretty empty and muddy on the occasions I visited.
While not the most meditative park, it’s a good park for baseball, kids, and leashed dogs.
