This is a wonderful, joyous place to live. The residents are friendly, the Administration is dedicated to make our lives even more interesting, healthy and happy. The location is unbeatable: want to listen to and see New York Metropolitan Opera or the latest film? Just walk a couple of blocks to our local cinema Miss the country? Walk a couple more blocks and you’re in 16 acres of parkland, a veritable arborist’s heaven. Shops, restaurants, services of all kinds abound in our neighborhood. Here at The Peninsula Regent you can be outdoors on a bocci ball team, or shoot pool, play ping pong, exercise in the warm water pool, take yoga and exercise classes, attend lectures, play bridge at several different levels, sing with the chorus, join the poetry group(At age 80 I wrote my first poem, inspired by this group), discuss books with the book club or news of the day with the current events group, or invent your own group. Give a dinner in your own apartment to celebrate a special occasion and have it catered by our chef for a reasonable fee. Attend cultural events in San Francisco, driven to and from by cheerful, helpful chauffers in our luxurious bus or limo. In sum: The Peninsula Regent is indeed a Renaissance. Anne S.

After visiting this community and others, this one takes it up a notch. It is not just an old folks home but a classy and elegant community. Everything is done in a professional manner; whereas at many other communities you find that there is a juvenile tone in the environment.
