Taco Del Mar

This is the worst mexican restaurant the food taste like crap, dont waist your money you rather go to buy some frozen food at safeway.

This place was just awful. I should have known how terrible it was by the lack of patrons and the flies everywhere. The food was bland but even worse, it was cold. This is not room temperature cold — that would have made it decent — this «food» was the temperature of something that’s been left in the refrigerator or a week.
Do yourselves a favor and go anywhere else. Taco Bell is better than this joint and that should be all you need know.

Really? A taqueria? What was I thinking? Nothing there is fresh. I got some nachos and the chips were stale. Ingredients look like they had been sitting there for a long time. My son didn’t even finish his chicken taco. How do you mess up on nachos and a chicken taco?

Worst Mexican food I have ever had. I had a steak taco, carnitas taco and a chicken enchilada.
The shell of the hard taco was old and stale. It taste like the shells you buy at Safeway.
The meats tasted old and had no flavor in them.
In addition to the disappointment in the food I found a hair in my enchilada! I showed them and they only offered to make me another one but I declined as I did not want to eat anything from this place anymore.
I hope this is a warning for anyone thinking of eating here. Better off going to Taco Bell.

Holy hell, this place is unbelievably bad. Everything tastes like it comes from a can, including the meat. I’ve literally eaten cold leftover street food from a cart in Tijuana, got food poisoning, and still had a better experience than Tacos Del Massive Shit.
The people were nice, but stay away. Seriously.

Worst Taqueria ever! I wish I would have checked on here first. I wanted simple tacos to go and when I opened my tacos I realized I would have been better off going to Tacobell for that kind of tacos.
You can easily compare these tacos to Tacobell and by that I mean that they’re oh so not Mexican.
I feel bad this place just opened but really? I wanted to return my tacos and get my money back.
The fact that they don’t have any fresh drinks like other Mexican restaurants should have been enough of a sign, that and that they don’t use carne asada for the tacos.
Stay away. Never coming back.

I wanted to like this place especially since the man who helped me was really nice. but the food was horrible. I ordered 3 tacos –2 steak and 1 chicken which just meat and rice. $ 8! What a rip off. The meat was salty, the lettuce wilted. Sorry I probably won’t be back.

I was excited to see this new burrito place open in my neighborhood. There are several great taquerias in the area but this one is now in short walking distance from my house. Tonite I tried it for the first time and at least now I know I’ll never be coming back. How anyone can screw up Mexican fast food is beyond me. ALL of the meat options looked like they were either very dried out or literally swimming in grease. Despite this I decided to give it a try anyway. It was disgusting! It was cold (they don’t heat it after rolling like in real taquerias) and the overall flavor resembled a cheap frozen burrito. One star is the lowest rating available and that’s what I gave them.

Maybe it will get better as they gain experience…
Food: I got the fish burrito, large size, and my husband got a salad, which comes with a tortilla bowl shell which I didn’t realize. The sour cream tasted kind of odd, I’m not sure why. The fish is ok. The whole wheat tortilla was good. For $ 6, it’s ok.
However, they really don’t fill up the tortilla, it ends up kind of mushy and filled with air. Note guacamole is $ 1 extra. The small is really child sized.
Service: there were 3 people, but they were pretty slow, because they’d only been working there 1– 2 weeks. It’s understandable, and rather comical.
They must be owned by Subway, because they use Subway’s bags and have the same setup/​line.

This place has a relaxing atmosphere and is filled with surf-​themed decorations.
but…
I’m sorry, this place is more like the stew shop than tex-​mex.
almost everything put together here becomes mushy and soggy stews. The nachos and burritos here have the texture of the throat sucking porridge. The meat here is gamey, it tasted a bit like salted roadkill squirrel jerky.
but I mean if you like tex-​mex corn chip lettuce stew, I highly recommend you to try this place! you’ll love it so much! :)

I only put one star because that’s the lowest i can give this place.
Food was absolutely disgusting, if i didn’t feel bad for them just opening i would have asked for my money back. Food looked like it had been sitting out for hours, I got the Mondo steak burrito which was extremely bland that I couldn’t finish it. I’d rather eat at La Cornetta Taqueria again even though they gave me food poisoning last time. My wife got the taco salad, with chicken that tasted like canned tuna.
BEWARE DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Food is gross, and overpriced. There are better places near by if you know where to look.

Do not eat here fuckin disgusting I took a bite and threw it out the. girl at the counter had no clue what she was doing and she asked. if I can take my food without a bag cuz she could. not find one
