Spiegel Anne, DDS

Please note, this is not for her dental work, but for her kindness.
I’m from the Bay Area, but currently live in Davis. At about 5:30am, I woke up to a fairly intense pain in one of my molars. I could feel it behind my eyeball. Anyways, I was unsure as to whether or not I was currently ensured under my parents dental and called Dr. Spiegel crying asking for help.
She was extremely helpful and kind. She listened to my concerns, told me how I could effectively/​temporarily manage my pain, and how I should proceed. She even gave her her private number and told me to call her, regardless of what happens. She did all of this even though I am not her patient.
I cannot describe how helpful this doctor and her assistant, Laura, are being. I am so grateful for everything they’re helping me through.

I was out of town on a business trip in San Mateo when the porcelain veneer on my front tooth fell off. The next morning I showed up at Dr. Spiegel’s office at 6am. Luckily she was able to move another appt. and help with my emergency.
I trust my regular dentist quite a bit and was worried that the work my not be up to his level. Turns out there was no need to be concerned. Anne was able to prepare the veneer without damage and adhere it back to my tooth perfectly!
When I returned to Chicago, I went to my regular dentist to make sure everything was good and he said she did great work.

Very good, ethical dentist. Very thorough and cleans your teeth herself, does not use a dental assistant like most dental offices.

My rating is a long time coming since I went to her 4 years ago! It has taken me that long to get the courage up to see a dentist again. My crown cracked after only 9 months of use and when I went back to her she told me it was my fault and that I will need a root canal to fix it… long story short… none of it was true! I am now happily wearing my temporary cap awaiting my new crown done by someone else… without the hassle and without a root canal! You can find a dentist that can do work that is just as thorough but will not leave you hanging in the End! Don’t do it!

Our family has gone to Anne for many years. She is patient and makes sure you fully understand the procedures. My daughter has special needs and she worked very well with her. Anne treats her career with pride and it shows. She has always gone out of her way to accomodate my childrens school schedules. I have loved going in early, who else is open at 6am???
Her new office has ample parking — it is next to the San Mateo Marriott in the office complex on North Amphlett.

I’m not a big fan of her «creative» billing either. But she is nice and her hours are convenient.
