Dr. Pickering has this calmness and friendliness that instantly make you feel you’ll be OK. I came in for an implant consultation, trying to figure out how many implants I’d need and whether I might need an extraction as well with an old root canal that has gone bad. But after kindly giving me an X-​ray (free of charge since my own X-​ray wasn’t that clear), he told me I may not even need an implant after all. He thinks my old bridge is still in OK shape, and there’s no clear sign of decay for the supporting teeth.
How many dentists are willing to throw away an opportunity to make a few thousand dollars by telling you such good news?! Added to that, his billing staff (Debbie) is very nice too, and emailed me the X-​ray the same day! Great doctor and great office staff…

This is a way overdue review for Dr. Pickering. I had a molar that was removed and needed to have an implant. Dr. Pickering was the most gentle oral surgeon I could have gone to. If you are looking for an oral surgeon, don’t hesitate and go there, you will be in good hands with an well experience and passionate surgeon. Thank you Doctor Pickering!!!

Dr. Pickering and his staff as A++ in all ways. His expertise with dental implant surgery is absolutely top-​notch in every way. The office staff is supportive and answers emails and questions promptly. Dr. Pickering’s surgical assistants, Dayna and Terry, are also kind, reassuring, and are with you every step of the way during the procedure itself.
I have had no pain either during or after the implant surgery! His consultations are free of charge (as of 11.13) unlike most other periodontists. After having the surgery with him, I recommend him highly. 5 stars!

Dr. Pickering does AMAZING work! He did an implant on my front tooth and it looks beautiful. Loosing my front tooth in an accident 30 yrs ago was so very traumatic that I was nervous as heck. But Dr. Pickering was always gentle and made me feel comfortable. He hummed familiar tunes while working which was surprisingly very comforting. Almost like a lullaby. His assistants Dana and (I forgot her name) were very supportive and sweet. I’ve had my implant for a week now and yet to experience any pain and it feels incredibly strong. I ate an apple yesterday with confidence! Most important, my front tooth implant looks real! Knowing what I know now, I don’t know why I waited so long! Dr. Pickering is a genius!

I can recommend Dr. Pickering to anyone. I needed an implant a while back, the result of a 30-​plus-​years ago injury, and the result was great. My mouth looked better than before. He and the rest of the staff in his practice are complete professionals. I hope I never have need of periodontic care again, but if I do I know I’d want Dr. Pickering to do the work.

I have to give Dr. Pickering and his team an AAA+! I had to have an implant put in yesterday and I have yet to feel any pain. Not one bit! He is quick and professional, yet very warm and seemed almost fatherly, which is good because I was nervous. His assistant is great as well. I didn’t catch her name but she was very sweet. Even the lady who does the billing was very nice. All in all, this office staff is the best. I still can’t believe I’m not hurting at all.
