This place is frightening. NEGATIVE stars. gross, dirty, smelly, shady, you name it. The owners are crude, rude Indians(no offense to any Indians but to these people in particular). Thankfully I had my own sleeping bag(and blanket to throw on top for the bed). DONOT stay here. Scrubbed but still highly visible graffiti on the walls(with cleaning solvent dripping(dried) on the walls. The hands down worst place I’ve ever stayed. Ive stayed in some bad European hostels 20 years ago and this takes the cake. This place is a slum and the owners know it and don’t give a damn about the place and probably your opinion. This place needs to be shut down, seriously.

This seemed to be our last resort to come here last night because everywhere else had no vacancy… This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The place was filthy. When I first walked into the bathroom, there were no towels. And a cockroach on the wall. I woke up this morning to bed bugs all over the bed. When we tried to bring it to the attention to the guy in front he replied«impossible» Really? Because I just woke up to them crawling on me. Favorite clothes? Gone. I’d rather be big free and loose my favorite jacket than bring bed bugs home with me. Do to come here. Go anywhere else or sleep in your car!

I don’t like to review places I’ve never been to, since I can’t really give an honest review, but this place seems VERY shady. This place reminds me a lot of the Motorville Motel in Colma which has the exact same pattern of «rooms». However, the Motorville Motel is located in a much better area than here. I came here to ask a question about directions and the owner seemed very creepy. He didn’t help, just wanted me to stay in a room — kept pushing it, I got suspicious and left. Anyway, there is a Holiday Inn a few blocks down, as well as a Super 8. Stay there or sleep in your car. It is a very dilapidated motel, smelly, and I didn’t even know the name(since the sign is broken) until I looked it up here. The area is sketchy too, next to a freeway and hidden away from city life. I never saw this part of SM before, and God knows what goes on inside those rooms…

I meant to write this last night, but the internet connection was too iffy. Now it is daytime, so I may not adequately convey the fear I felt last night. This place looks shady, but once you drive around in the parking lot to investigate and test for an internet connection, it doesn’t seem so bad. Plus, each room gets its own private garage, which offers some amount of comfort that people won’t go through your car. The rooms are fifty dollars even, cash only, no air conditioning, no refrunds(sic). And the garage we got, it’s not a single; it has room for two cars!!! Upon opening the door, the smell of mold hits like a freight train. I sprayed air freshener liberally, but air freshener can only suppress smells, not mold spores. Eventually, one gets used to breathing mold spores instead of oxygen, but I don’t want to get used to that! Here’s the rundown of the room! The carpet is soiled and lifted up in parts, the TV has half-removed cartoon stickers, there are seven dead yellowjackets in the bathroom window sill, there’s a piece of tissue paper in the peephole because there’s no glass, there’s gang graffiti in the bathroom mirror, there’s barely any toilet paper, the shower has a big hole above it, there’s what looks like blood splatter on the wall, the light is just a bulb, one of the lamps is missing a bulb, the fire alarm is missing, there are no lights outside the room or in the garage, the toilet moves, and there’s no internet. Plus, the guy just came to the door asking for the key even though checkout isn’t for another thirty minutes! What is up with that. There is a swimming pool, but it is filled in. The maintenance budget for this place must be zero, and I wonder if in some poetic way, the people who run it must expect that eventually it will decay and return to the earth as much of human creation eventually does. In summary, this place is weird and creepy and smells bad.
