Not the prettiest place, but breakfast and coffee is worth the visit here. Quiet enough to get work done and owner is very nice.

MIni Coffee’s address is incomplete, it’s missing the suite 500 part. took me a few extra minutes to find it. finally check in Unilocal.found the correct address. found it on corner of S. B St and ninth ave. boardful full of offerings. just got coffee brew: coffee(m. 2) –freshly brewed by cup? looks like it. lady says that’s the way they make it. tasted bitter, unsure why, strong, bold drips: –shop looks old, not redecored. functional, just no ambience in the modern sense. –no room for any more food… 3.5 stars so far. quick service.

Good local coffee place that serves more than just coffee. Lots of choices, including smoothies, boba, milkshakes. Great little atmosphere with cozy seats and free wi-fi.

Let me say right off the bat: I come here every morning for breakfast before work, and Jenny, the owner knows my order. I usually am too sleepy to check in on Unilocal, but if I did I think the number of check-ins might be concerning. The Food: I get the same thing every morning, and it’s just so, so good. I get the matcha latte and a plain buttered bagel, with the total coming up to under $ 6. Let me tell you– I am a sucker for all things matcha, and though I’ve never had horrendous matcha-flavored foods, I would have to say that this drink is the best thing I’ve had. It’s made with real matcha powder and is only slightly sweetened. Peets’ and Starbucks’ diluted, sugary drinks have nothing on this: P Service is a bit slow as Jenny runs a one-woman business for everyone who comes in, but I don’t mind the wait. The place is actually pretty big, despite its name. There’s a nice living-room-like area with lots of tables to sit at, and a bar area in the main room, along with a couch. Jenny plays nice ambiance music and keeps beautiful orchids at the window. I love coming here in the morning– it’s a relaxing way to start the day.

I love hanging out and getting work done here(free wifi). The chicken salad sandwich is really good!(^_^) The service is always kind and friendly. Sometimes a little slow, but that’s because she’s careful and/or busy. Definitely worth the wait.(^_^) Responding to other folks comments: – Coffee: Tastes fine to me. Definitely not weak. I prefer my coffee bold but not bitter and that’s what you get here.(^_^) – Cleanliness: I have no complaints. I haven’t seen any dead bugs. If that was a problem before, I think it’s been corrected.

This café is a hidden gem. My avocado smoothie was truly made with love, the owner even asked me how sweet I liked it. She seemed very sweet and chatted to her regular customers as she prepared their breakfast. Firstly it’s hard to find a café that makes an avocado smoothie, secondly it only cost $ 3.75, I’m pretty sure less than the cost of the ingredients, thirdly it tasted amazing with an overly generous amount of avocado used. 5 stars, highly recommend this café!

Went in and asked for a coffee. She puts the cup under the espresso machine(without adding any beans) and starts the machine. I told her I wanted a drip coffee. She said this is how we make coffee. I’m thinking, «so she’s pouring me a cup from used espresso beans. This will likely be a weak coffee.» When I questioned her about her technique she said, «if you don’t want coffee, I won’t make it. Don’t buy coffee here if you don’t want it.» So I told her this is f*cked up and walked out. So I guess they don’t want business.

I went the place to do an interview, and like the place. It’s very clean, quiet, but he thing I like most is that the owner is really friendly. I was in a rush when I got there so she helped to order the coffee without charge me. I paid only after I finished the interview. I’ll definitely go there again.

This is a place locals come to as during the two hours so I sat in here on a weekday afternoon, plenty of people came in and placed an order without saying what drinks they want(eg ‘I want it cold’). Most people got their drinks to go, but my review is for people who are looking to sit and get work done: Interior is not well kept, there were plenty of flies hovering in the seating area, and dead bugs along the windows. Outlets were scarce, wifi was slow and cellphone reception weak.

What really makes this place special is Jenny. She’s so kind and thoughtful and makes a great coffee! Sure, a lot of her products are from Costco, but they’re always well stocked and available! It’s my go-to snack spot! Pro tip: make the time to visit and don’t be in any kind of rush ;)

I was in the area and needed some breakfast since I didn’t have anything at home when I left. I got a cup of the ferrero rocher coffee and some sort of pasty that wasn’t labeled. The ferrero rocher coffee is pretty much coffee with chocolate and hazelnut syrup added. It was still too bitter for me and the lady behind the counter was nice enough to adjust it until my liking. It was pretty good though it didn’t blow my mind or anything. The pastry was okay. Tasted home-made which was nice since most things are just packaged these days. Service was great and if I were every to come and study, it seems like they always have tables(the few that they have) available with free wi-fi. Overall, not a bad place to come grab a quick cup of coffee and maybe a quick bite.

The locals would all come in and say, «Hi Jenny, I’ll have the usual» …And off they went to find a comfy place to seat, …and off Jenny, who would begin to whip her multi talent crew of one to get their order in sequence, and right on time! I found Mini Coffee because Ma’s Auto Repair moved to their new location over at 9th Ave(where they are a few blocks away). Jenny whips her talent serving bagels, full espresso bar, drip coffee, fresh fruits and many more. There is a lovely leather sofa to plopped yourself comfortably, a side bar with a view, and accompanied with lovely orchids that Jenny babysits for her horticulture friends. Customer service is excellent, and Jenny will always make you feel welcome. Jenny works everyday so stop by and say hello when you are in the neighborhood! There is a small outdoor table and two chairs including a water bowl for us pooch paw families. Cheers and enjoy! :p

Tiny asian lady that works really hard for tips! Ordered a hazelnut latte, but the tiny asian lady was overly pleased to help. I am not sure if it came from a genuine place or if she wanted me to tip due to the slow day… Either way, she was very helpful. Too bad I didn’t love the latte, but I appreciated the service.

Have been passing by this coffee shop for many years and finally stopped in. The owner is really sweet and despite running the shop on her own in the afternoon, runs a smooth ship. The nice thing is in the afternoon, she brews your cup of coffee fresh per order. Nobody likes stale coffee that has been sitting in a pot for several hours, so this really illustrates her attention to serving a good product. Although this takes a little longer, it is worth the wait. They also have a variety of health bars, sandwiches, and asian tea drinks. Have yet to try these, but all look good.

Before I start, I must say the lady who works here is very sweet. I ordered a hot apple cider, and paid nearly $ 4 for it, so I was expecting some ground breaking, mind blowing, hot apple cider. I happened to be looking in her direction and she just steamed Treetop apple juice haha. She did add a cinnamon stick though so it did add a little something extra that my taste buds agreed with. Overall, I enjoyed my drink, but I wouldn’t be running back to this place the first chance I get.

I needed to get some work done and wanted to come to a new place near home so here I am! I got the white chocolate cocoa which for some reason tastes like cotton candy. The lady said I can get half off the same drink next time I come back but I think I’ll pass. However, I would definitely come back for the fantastic customer service(she makes you feel like you’re at home), fast wifi, and mostly quiet atmosphere(you can hear the trains going by). There’s only about 5 tables but not too many people come to stay so I can almost guarantee you a spot but I wouldn’t take my word on it.

This is where my bf and I stop in for coffee before we get in line and wait for Ramen Dojo to open. Like everyone says, the owner is extremely friendly and is solicitous even though all we ever order are lattes. This little corner café is also very comfy with sofas, tables and artwork on the walls. The food in here looks good too. It’s basic breakfast stuff, sandwiches and salads. If this place was in my neighborhood, I come here often.

I came here while waiting for Ramen Dojo to open. It’s ran by Asian owners so that should explain the décor and why you need to order something before getting the wifi password. They open early and serve your basic café items like coffee and croissants. The wifi was fast – nice place to get some work done.

The owner is likely the nicest lady in town. Super chatty, loves to ask questions about you and your fam and your commute, etc. As much as I enjoyed our convo, I didn’t really enjoy the coffee. It was a bit on the weak side and although it didn’t have the Evil Mermaid burnt flavor profile, it didn’t really have a flavor profile at all. Super cool space with lots of room to kick back and relax. They offer up some nice pastries(I didn’t partake this time around) and some other goodies, so please check it out for yourself.
