Their roast duck and pork are too dry and salty. The chow mein is too greasy and I found an 1-inch plastic stick in one of my orders! The deli dishes are mushy and full of dough. The reason I gave it a 2 star instead of 1 star is because they have very tasty spring rolls and I get them using my coupons.

the only positive of this place is the deli coupon after purchase. otherwise i would never try the food they have here. the fried rice was bland, the rice noodles was crap, the sweet and sour pork was more dough than meat, and the spicy eggplant was nasty. the lady behind the counter also fooled me into picking another meat dish and it was not until i got home that i realized it was made up of mostly tofu and fatty beef. so if you have the coupons give it a try, but otherwise there are definitely better options around here.

This deli beats Ranch 99 by a mile, if not more. Pretty good price performance although I believe most use the coupons they get from grocery shopping at the store. You get $ 1 deli coupon for every $ 10 you spend for purchases $ 30 and over(started with just $ 10 then increased to $ 20 after Ranch 99 opened in Foster City and just recently increased to $ 30 — same as Ranch 99 now). The lunch box is a good deal — getting noodles or fried rice does not cost more than if you wanted steamed rice. There are plenty dishes to choose from for everyone — vegetarian, fried, meat… sometimes when everything looks good and fresh, it can become a challenge to limit yourself to just 3. We have tried many: fried rice — bland chow fun — meatless, bland chow mein — ok, a bit greasy rice noodle — very tasty, has a bit of ground pork and shredded cabbage fried smelt? — the little fish — this is very tasty, i always order if it’s fresh fried chicken drumette/wing — good stuff, always order if it’s fresh salt & pepper shrimp — very good — like all other items, especially fried ones, make sure it’s fresh or don’t order spicy eggplant — not bad veggie combo — love this dish, very tasty — always order if it’s fresh chicken teriyaki? — the is the pieces of thigh meat — good black pepper chicken — pretty good, you must like black pepper and onion or else pass green bean with marinated bean curd — pretty good You can order any of the items a la carte — all very reasonably priced. They also have dim sum on the weekends and a special rice noodle with pig intestines — that’s the bomb!
