Kumon Math and Reading Center of San Mateo

I started coming here when my daughter was expressing anxiety about reading and writing in kindergarten. At first I was skeptical, and she didn’t like doing the packets. A few months later, I have found this program to be working for her. She’s mastering new skills, and she tells me the packets are fun. I am finding her trying to teach her younger brother how to read words. She feels a sense of responsibility by earning Kumon dollars to buy toys for doing her homework. Fran and her staff are great with the kids. They check in regularly to make sure she is at the right level, They will leave out homework on the window after hours if I am not able to come when the center is open. There are a lot of tutoring options out there, and I feel grateful we have found this service :)
