I have used Handy German for several jobs around my home and business. Lighting, painting, plumbing and some general repairs. Christoph is always very professional and pleasant. He is reasonably priced and doesn’t cut corners. Fantastic workmanship, nothing has had to be re-​done. Another review commented on how he doesn’t return calls… this has not been my experience, usually called me back within a day or 2. He is a very effecient one man operation.

He is personable, professional and reasonable. When I first called him he didn’t answer. I chose to not leave a message. To my surprise he returned the miss call apologizing for not answering. As a one man operation he does a great balancing act to respond to customers, get the work done and be on top of things. What more can you expect!
I am having him install some ceiling fans. One done and I am very happy with his work!
He keeps me up to date if he needs to change times or days! He really cares about his business and his customers!
Having a handyman close by in the neighborhood is great. I highly recommend him.

Tried this guy out for some basic electrical repair (replaced socket in hanging light) and he seemed polite and customer oriented. Next time I sent an e-​mail inquiry on other small jobs and got NO reply. When I followed up several days later, he accused me of being too demanding, expecting him to be responsive ²⁴⁄₇ and in so many words told me he is not interested. ANY contractor or service person that behalves this way to a returning customer does not really care about their clients and does not deserve their business. In this case it is evident by his reply (stating he has been so busy with other work) that he now picks and choses clients and the larger more profitable jobs.
There are many many «handy men» to chose from — save yourself the time and eventual disappointment!
