I am 66 years old and decided I wanted to learn how to play drums. I got a reference from a musician friend who suggested Danny. I emailed Danny and asked him if he thought I was to old to start. He said your never to old to enjoy life so why not give it a try. He was right, I am now doing something that is so much fun, and I can’t say enough about Danny and his instruction. He is very thorough and inspiring. So no matter what age you are, let Danny show you the way — -Awesone teacher and mentor Dan Diridoni

We met Danny when my son joined the Crocker MIddle School Drumline and decided to take private lessons with him shortly thereafter. Danny is absolutely passionate about what he does. He is always wanting to get the kids to give it their all and he is always looking for opportunities to showcase the kids. He challenges his students and really wants them to practice and continue to learn. He really knows his stuff and he loves sharing it with his students.

Danny was recommended to me when my son expressed an interest in drumming. That was 8 months ago and my son is still loving every minute of it. Danny teaches kids in a very effective way, finding a natural balance to get the most out of them. He also communicates well with the parents, making sure to touch base with them in person at the end of every other lesson or so. I can’t think of anything we could want more out of this experience.

I have been taking lessons form Danny for 6 months, and not only is he a fun person to work with, but his lessons are in depth and always a inspiring. I have been drumming for ten years, and it is very difficult to find a instructor who can open new doors for me. His wrist, finger, and arm technique are challenging and helpful for long term drummers to avoid health problems that come with repetitive action. Danny is very in touch with exercises that relate to personal style as well as new ideas that can be take your personal style in a new direction. He puts emphasis on form and dynamics, and never makes me feel defeated, however also doesn’t let me get away with bad habits. My advice for anyone thinking about taking lesson is give him a try even for one lesson to start, you will not be disappointed no matter what level of drummer you are, I plan on continuing my lessons with Danny for quite some time!

My son started when he was 8 and has been going every week Danny is very patient but would only take students on who have the passion he is innovative on how to motivate each student so that they learn the skills reading music is just as important as playing and with drums its very important since some can get by on just playing but Danny make sure that they learn to read

My son started out on the Bongos with Danny when he was in 5th grade. Then after about a year he moved onto the drums with Danny and he’s been taking lessons with him ever since. Danny’s a great teacher who relates well to his students and you can tell he truly loves teaching, music, and his students. Not only has he helped my son get through some of the lessons that have been more difficult(and I’m grateful for that because I love that my son has taken drum lessons for 6 years without quitting) but Danny has tried to help my son find other activities that interest him. You won’t find a better teacher or mentor out there.
