Maybe it was the experience with just one saleswoman that scarred Ben Bridge for us, but we will never be stepping in that store again. Shung-zee Wong is a horrible salesperson, who only knows how to sell Ben Bridge jewelry by putting down the other jewelers, and not really saying why we should buy from Ben Bridge. If you tell Shung-zee Wong that you might also do more research with other jewelry stores(given the lack of info and help for first time diamond buyers), she will belittle you and constantly pass judging comments. Such a sour person! Shung-zee Wong constantly pushed us to make the sale using all the wrong reasons. We ended up going with Blue Nile.

An employee here was extremely helpful! I had bought a channel set wedding band, which didn’t at all match my engagement ring, and she showed me a band that looked like it was part of a set with my other ring, even though my engagement ring was from a different store. Also, in general, Ben Bridge is a great company! The employees have always been nice(even in different locations), and the diamonds are ethically sourced. No one has ever been overly pushy either. They even have a policy where you can trade in your jewelry and get store credit for what it’s worth so you can trade up slowly if you want!

I went in with a watch I had bought elsewhere for my Mom. I chose Ben Bridge to get the watch sized because they’re an authorized dealer for the brand I bought. I spoke on the phone with a wonderful salesperson who told me she could size the watch for $ 25. My Mom and I brought the watch in and the woman(blanking on her name) was very kind and sized it while we waited. Then she told us there would be no charge. I will definitely visit them for my next jewelry or watch purchase.

I am updating my review to 4 stars because I really appreciated the fact that Patty called me to apologize for the poor customer service I received on the day of my visit to the store. This was really the only issue I had as the store, products and the workmanship that I received that day were all of good quality. She did assure me that the store is hearing the customer service complaints and they are taking steps to remedy them. This is great to hear and the personal phone call was also a nice touch.

Horrible customer service. I asked one of their saleswomen how much one of their watches was. She replied«over 5000». You think just because I’m wearing a plain t-shirt I can’t afford your items? I should’ve bought 3 of those watches and smashed one on the floor just to prove her wrong. Don’t come here, their sales people are stuck up jerks.

Customer Service is top-notch! Patty helped me out very much. Courteous, genuine and intelligent are what come to mind when I think of adjectives to describe the service at Ben Bridge(specifically here in San Mateo.) This should be your first and last stop for any Jewelry purchases!

I want to recognize Grace who helped me. Her customer service was really great. I needed to get my wedding band sized and she gave me some suggestions about what I could do with my diamond ring. She chatted with me like we were friends and I didn’t feel rushed, even though I obviously couldn’t make up my mind! My sized ring was back in just a few days and she called me right away. I would definitely recommend Ben Bridge Jewelers and I will look to them for my future jewelry needs!

Zero star establishment. They should atleast deal a customer with respect, irrespective of caste, creed or color. I ended up becoming a victim of racism. I went to buy a pink diamond. They did not have one, but the guy, promised me that he will get back to me once he enquires about it from their main office. It seems they order if there is any request. The sales person kept on telling me its expensive and i cant afford, as if he knew my bank balance. I knew pink diamond is expensive, at the same time I also knew my financial status. At least I know what i could afford n what not. I had not gone there for time pass. But it seems he thought that we cannot afford one. So i was not treated properly and was reminded time and again that its expensive and cant be afforded. When i insisted him that i have a certain budget(was not asking for Dariya-e-Noor) and i can afford within it so kindly let me know if u can arrange within that budget or not, he told me that he will get back to me in day or two on this. A week passed he never called. I called him again, left a message for him but he never called. He should have atleast shown the courtesy of returning my call, whether or not he was able to arrange for the diamond. I guess till the end he thought that we just came for window shopping and we do not have class enough to wear Pink Diamonds. I finally purchased a lovely pink diamond online from Leibish and Co, and had it shipped to US from Israel. It was over $ 12000 plus. I will never recommend anyone to go here for anything. They do not know how to deal with customers.

They are at a mall and SHOULD expect walk ins. So, regardless of age, nationality, race or outfit, I think they should at least TRY to provide POLITE customer service. I don’t expect them to roll out the red carpet for me. I don’t expect them to follow me or take out everything in their chests to try on, but at the very least, can they PLEASE try to be polite? I know aI look very young, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be buying anything from you.

Overall, very positive experience. Friendly, pleasant salesperson helped me with my rather odd request of looking at the baby earrings for myself. Yes, it’s freakish, but I was really looking for some delicate gold earings for one of my formerly retired extra ear piercings — these type of earrings are exceptionally hard to come by I found! So I splurged and got them. When the post popped off 6 weeks later, I was devastated. But, the manager promptly and courteously replaced them. With a little mini lecture. and a carefully hidden strange look about an adult wearing baby earrings. but none-the-less, my baby-earring wearing self was back in business! I like that this is not the chain jewelry store I’ve come to expect from the mall. Their pieces are unique and worth a look.

This place has more merchandise than the one at Stonestown. I purchased a Madova watch and luckily, it was the last one. When I first saw it, I knew it belonged to me. I can’t believe I waited 3 days to get it because apparently, other people were trying on the same watch too! Now others have to order theirs online! The staff that helped me with the watch before was Nancy, but unfortunately when I came back to get it she wasn’t there. But the person that helped me was a lot more positive and nice. So overall I got the watch, warranty, and everything was all set! I was way too excited that I forgot to get my receipt and a bag! A staff member had to chase me to claim them. 5 stars!
