Love this place for Middle Eastern food and supplies! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the variety of items is great!

The store appears small from the street, but that’s deceiving. It’s a huge store with lots of produce and ethnic products. It’s very clean and welcoming. Customer service was on point! The staff was really nice. It was my first time and the guy at the food counter helped walk me through the menu and picked some of the popular items. Front cashier guy was also super nice on the day I went. The food is AMAZING! The grilled meats have a nice smokey flavor yet still tender and juicy. There are so many sides to choose from so you won’t ever be bored :-) I got the lamb kebab rice plate and my husband got the chicken. Both were very tasty. Can’t wait to go back and try something new!

My favorite place to buy authentic food. They have wide selection of Mediterranean grocery. The fresh made sweets are so yummy. And don’t forget to try the falafel

I’ve only recently found this market, and it’s fantastic! Everyone is super nice and friendly, and the food is absolutely delightful. I’ve tried the lamb and chicken wraps, and they are both wonderful. Check it out for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed. There’s even a few small tables so you can eat here, inside or outside. They also have a great selection of salads and other things to take out, AND an extensive selection of Baklava. I highly recommend Aladdin Market.

Went here and the guy was helping at the deli was very friendly. The dick head at the register said rudely«we close in 1 minute!» I’m a nice guy, but I was ready to kick his monkey ass all over the place.

My update is that I keep on being impressed with the kind of service and quality food I get at Aladdin. Friday I dropped in to get food for 6 person dinner party. They put it all together exactly as I requested in about 20 minutes. Great food, beautiful presentation, amazing service, reasonable price. For six chicken skewers, a large vegetarian platter, olives, pita bread and Turkish delight the entire bill was $ 95! Thanks so much, Aladdin.

Best baklava in town. Their dry fruits especially dates are yummy. Dried figs and apricots are good to taste.

Rating the food 3 stars(I don’t shop in the market frequently enough to rate their selection but it looks decent). Reliable place to order authentic Middle Eastern cuisine for lunch pickup especially if you’re particularly hungry that day. Decent food, fair prices and portions, and friendly staff. I recommend calling ahead for your order that way you don’t have to wait at the counter for your food. My go-to is the chicken or beef skewer lunch plate(1 skewer). If you want two skewers, order the dinner plate.

Tried to order a beef shawerma plate from this place. The board clearly states«All plates come with humus, tomatoes, pickles, onions, pita and two sides». The Mexican woman behind the counter barely speaks two words of English. She starts asking what we want. I tell her I want the plate, and show her the two sides. When she brings the order, we don’t have humus, we don’t have tomatoes, we don’t have onions. I try to tell her this as she stares at me with bewildered eyes, clearly thinking I am wrong. I point to the board and tell her, «humus, tomatoes, onions»? Nothing. The owner comes over, he’s Arabic. I think, OK, this is going to get taken care of. Nope! I point out the missing items on the plate. He tells me, «this is what we do…» Wait, what?! I tell him, right there on your board it says that I am supposed to get all this stuff. He says, it’s my store, I do what I want. He tells me, take it or leave it. So, if this sounds like your idea of good service, by all means, knock yourself out. I am never coming back to this place. Didn’t try the food, no idea how it tastes.

My mom bought the martadella and I’ve been vomiting all day yesterday and today. Beware, their meats may be expired. Also the workers there are stuck up for some reason.

One star it’s too much for this business. I went today there and i bought 5 different Mini pies to try it out . 1– It was disgusting, old . 2– Two of them has mildew. 3– I ordered spinach pie, and he gave the with cheese . 4 –I will never go back again.

A very good place for halal meat, middle eastern dessert. OMG, the Baklava, every time we go there we buy baklava and each time we love it more and more. The meats are fresh, the desserts are freshly made. Even the produces are good enough. They keep different cuts in meat section and the staff in meat section is very friendly and efficient too. He understands what size to cut in pieces according to dish, definitely you’ve to mention what you are cooking if you want any specific cut. The only downside I find that the store doesn’t keep many produce, they are very limited in variety and the store is pretty small in space. Otherwise I love this place and if you go there don’t forget to have baklava.

This place is fine, although not overwhelmingly stocked for a Middle Eastern market. Notably present are what appears to be tens of different types of the spice mix Zatar(Palestinian, Syrian, etc.) and the dessert Turkish Delight. Notably absent are almost any other Middle Eastern treat, like my favorites of pistachio nougat or apricot paste which I have never not found in a Middle Eastern market the country over before this one. I also tried their homemade pita, but apparently they didn’t notate that the pita they had out was at least a day old. It was not good. Dry and stale. I can’t speak to what it would be like fresh, and kinda lame that they didn’t specify. On the plus side, I have found sumac supremely difficult to find in any reasonable quantity at non-Middle Eastern markets, so I was grateful for that. I also noticed that they have many different varieties of bulgar wheat — from extra fine to coarse, which is useful for Middle Eastern cooking. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this place again, but when I need more Sumac, I’ll likely be back.

I usually buy a few things here. Lamb, goat, Dunar basmati rice, sweets and sometimes kebabs, shawarmas etc. About 80% of the time the lamb/goat was very fresh and of great quality. The sweets were very good. The kebabs and shawarma are standard. Not mindblowing and not bad either. They are ok. Now for the bad part. And this sort of takes away all the good things. The guy manning the meat section is an a-hole! Sorry for the french, but thats what it is. This is the worst store employee I have met in a long time. He is extremely, extremely rude and really needs to be replaced. Now, sometimes he is on leave and someone else takes care of the meat section during that time. So I dont want you to mistake someone else for this guy. I will decribe him. He is very short, very stout and chubby. He has a round face and joined eyebrows. If you see this guys please beware. Some examples of this rudeness: 1. Q(me): How old is this meat? Did it come in today?: Rude Guy: Why do you care? Just take it if you want or else dont. Next customer please. 2. Q(my sister this time) Can I have some that meat and this one too… etc. :Rude Guy: Where is your husband? How come he is not accompanying you. 3. Q(me) I will take this stew meat. Can you please select the pieces which have less fat?: Rude Guy: Sorry I am not going to select pieces for you. If you dont like it then take a full shoulder. Pure a-hole. Avoid him. I love goat meat so I keep going back. The day I find another shop close to where I live, I will never go back to this shop.

I love the deli and bakery here, hot fresh Pitas and have you had Zaatar? They have samples on the counter so you can try it for yourself it’s great. I usually buy just a few Pita at a time since they’re freshly made they just aren’t the same in a few days. It’s a nice local grocery store, has the Persian cucumbers I need and other fresh produce. There were some nice blood oranges at prices way better than Whole Foods. I like that it’s cleaner than a lot of ethnic markets I visit. I don’t think I’ve seen so many different cuts of lamb meat at a butcher. I usually get the stew beef here, but I might be brave enough to make lamb someday.

Pretty annoyed… we ordered a large party platter last Thursday to be picked up after 11am today. My husband went to pick it up and our order was nowhere. They then had to warm and cook items for us and compile the platter. So my husband was told to come back in 30 mins. He came home. After returning to pick it up, they had NO pita made!!! How do you eat all the sides without pita?! I even asked to make sure on Thursday! If it weren’t a few hours before our party, for which we are making 20lbs of latkes, i would have said screw it. But i will not shop here again for an event. And, the lamb they gave us was shredded with globs of fat!!! We wanted gyro or cubes like we ordered!!! It was disgusting. Nobody touched it. What a waste of time and mone! This was very disappointing.

I give this place one star for 2 reasons 1– I bought meat from there twice and when I reached home I found out they are old and smells 2– the store owner is a total idiot he got an attitude with customers not friendly at all. I stopped going there because of that idiot.

This is a combo grocery store and deli. I’ve certainly dined at the deli many many times because the food there is just tasty! Their shish tawook is amazing, I love the tabouleh, and their beef shawarma is delicious! The service can be a bit ehh, and you have to assert your presence and intention before you’ll get much more than a look. I haven’t tried the pizza yet, but every time I’ve gone, there have been many people ordering it. it makes sense that they would also make pizza because they have the oven setup for making various flatbreads. You order at the food counter, then pay at the register where you pay for all the grocery items. Usually I order, look around in the store while the food is being prepared and set aside anything I want to buy, eat, then pay for everything. There are only two very small tables in the corner. It’s not the nicest atmosphere, but it’s a place to sit and there are usually interesting things/people to look at. As for the grocery items, they have tons of phyllo dough, their produce is just okay(I bought two papayas from here that had cold damage), and crazy Haribo candies.

I’m now at a 2.5 star level with them after trying them tonight for dinner. Service: I knew that they were slow so I called ahead. «10 minutes. he says». 15 minutes later, I arrive and the guy in the deli, says a bit apologetically, «I just got your order. 5 minutes?» So now I have to walk around the grocery and look at all the goodies in the refrigerated section that is stocked with lots of cheeses and other rare versions that you won’t find at your local Safeway. Halloumi grilling cheese, Kefir cheese, and many kinds of yoghurt and feta cheeses. I’m sure that’s their game: pretend to be show(or actually be slow) so that the customer is forced to wander and probably buy some of their other goods. As curiosity would have it, I bought a few cheeses I’d not seen before in my «regular» stores. The two dishes I had requested about 25 minutes before, finally show up. Beef and chicken Shawarma(prepared towards the end of their day ~6:30 p.m.) The result: less than happy with their meats. The beef was especially tough – too lean and, while flavorful, really too grisled to be anything near tender. The chicken was better, but not in the moisture department. It was really nicely seasoned but not very good as the center piece of this dish. They are very generous with the mostly parsley Tabbouleh(a relatively light on the bulgur wheat) and their two side dishes of Hummus and smoky Baba Ganoush were good as before. But I thought their Greek salad was a bit small tart, given that I told them to hold the rice and pita, to make this a relatively low-carb plate. I enjoyed their cucumber salad much more. So between the slow service, the tough and dry meats, and the scarce salad, I’m not as impressed as I was the first time. I will try them one more time(for lunch – no more waiting until the end of the day, so dinner is now out) and update this review whether it’s worth returning.

Did they change owners? Went there this afternoon and ordered lamb shawerma and did not see anybody I recognized… When I got my order I was a little surprised at the size too. It definitely looked smaller. When I ate it, it also did not taste as good as I remembered. The lamb was a little cold and not very juicy. The price is the same but it just seems like they changed the portion? I’ll keep the star rating just to give them the benefit of doubt. It could be an off day; I came on late Sunday afternoon so things could have been sitting out for a while or something…
