This place has both good and not so good reviews just like most shops open these days, but after doing some research trying to find a well rounded experienced artist, I gave this place a shot. Matt Wood was my artist that I chose and I couldn’t be happier! He is a very gifted artist and s a wall full of awards to show it. Thanks to his patients and talents I now have an amazing piece of art that I can keep forever. Hes only been in San Marcos for two weeks and already has a client for life!

This is a cool environment but the artists are not good. I got a matching tattoo with my friend and we were both given different tattoos and scaring so bad you can hardly tell what it is supposed to be.

This tattoo shop has the potential of being great except for the young immature wannabe gangster tattoo artists and the constant barrage of shitty gangster rap. The only thing that makes this tattoo shop worthy is Dave Barry he is the only awesome artist who works there everybody else is a freaking moron. Take it for me, not only am I a tattoo artist but I have been around the industry for more than 30 years so I definitely know what I’m talking about

I’ve been to multiple tattoo shops and none compare! I was greeted and treated like family the moment I walked through the door. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, not to mention talented! I love the vibe they give off, and I am obsessed with my artwork. I will definitely be returning!

Best tattoo shop in San Marcos. Hands down. I have been to many tattoo shops and this one has the BEST environment I’ve experienced. When I walked in, Angel immediately introduced himself and asked me what I was looking to get. The shop is decorated beautifully and is very clean. They also have lots of jewelry choices if you are looking to get a piercing. No shop minimum, which is hard to find in the area. Your price is determined on what you are getting. Definitely follow their Instagram, they are always posting specials. Love this place. Never getting work done anywhere else.

Twisted Rabbit gave me an awesome first tattoo experience! Emily was super patient and made sure it was everything I wanted. The shop is family run and there was a very positive and welcoming environment. Everyone there was open to any questions I had and wanted to help as much as possible. The only complaint I have is they did not have a sheet telling me how to take care of the tattoo when it was done. To their credit after I asked one of the employees explained it to me in depth, though I still had to ask. I got the tattoo on my ribs so the pain was unavoidable but Emily was quick and gently as possible. She really did a great job and I will be revisiting sometime very soon!
