Usually very helpful service here. It is traffic at the intersection which keeps me away more than anything, depending on what time of day I think I’m going to stop by. Also, between the coffee shop and restaurant the parking experience can sometimes be interesting.
Decent prices without going for the multiple-​bottle discount. Carries standard brands and enough new stuff to keep me happy.
I prefer wines and liquor, so don’t have an informed opinion on the beer selection but it takes up almost all the refrigerated cases.

The scoop on this location is that they have one of the better wine selections in San Marcos, a city where cheap beer and hard liquor dominate the landscape and the package store offerings.
Staff are generally friendly and often clue you in on some really great specials they are running. I seldom stop here anymore, but wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I were looking for that particular bottle as a gift.
