Tap In Tavern

I would give this a 5 star but every time I’m here the smell of weed from one employee is beyond me. He walks in and out of the kitchen to take smoke breaks with friends and also had his girlfriend come to get food and they personally prepare and bring it out for her and her friends and get their food right away and we were their first ! He also made it clear she would always be taken care of when she came. I understand the love but hey we’re paying here.

We went to have lunch today for our first time and it was disappointing. We ordered 2 wraps and one pizza which took them an hour to be exact to serve us. They said that they ran out of the cheese and waited to have it brought to them! Unreal! The food was not good which my wrap was a chunk of things covered with lot of cheese! The best thing was the wrap itself. Sorry for giving them a bad review but we won’t be back there!

Have had burgers & salads as take out — good. Here in person tonight — they now have wine — woo-​hoo! Husband had burger as usual — very good. I had Angus beef chili, as I was craving — yummy. Also ordered smoked ham & cheddar. It was over the top! Ham so thin and yummy, I thought it was bacon, honey mustard dressing killer. Just overall great! Our waiter, Matt was super. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere. We’ll be back (many times).

A very a nice selection of craft beers in cans. A very nice environment and clean place! A great place to catch a game or two.

Considering this is part of the Executive Course it’s impressive. The hardwood floors and high ceilings add to the beauty of this establishment. It doubles as a mini-​pro shop and golf simulator (when there’s not sports on).
The menu is simple: fast casual. You order on a piece of paper (like The Counter) at the bar and when the food is ready they deliver it to your table. We got the TBC sandwich, steak and blue pizza & salad. All were pretty good and relatively reasonable for the offerings in the area (not counting fast food).
Since the Lakehouse Resort down the street doesn’t have a restaurant on site, both Tap-​In Tavern and the St. Mark’s Golf Course serve as their food stops. This is definitely the cheaper option, plus you can take food to go also. I would have preferred to dine-​in during the day so we could sit outside and watch play on the course below, since at night I believe they cater to a more «mature» crowd as trivia night was starting as we were departing.
Nice quick bite to eat and in nice surroundings too.

Went out for a bite to eat on Friday night since we were starving and decided to try Tap In Tavern. We weren’t sure what to expect. It’s actually quite beautiful when you pull in and it feels like a lodge in the mountains. It has it’s own parking lot.
We walked in and there were several tables inside and TVs. You order at the bar on a write in menu, pay at the bar, and find your seat. We chose to sit outside since it was a gorgeous night. The outside area overlooks the golf course. The tables outside are high tables and stools. I’m assuming the height is for the view.
You have to grab your own utensils, condiments, and napkins, but they do bring your food to you. They do NOT have a full bar. They have several canned beers and they had two red and two white wines to choose from. If they had a broader drink selection, I would have rated it 5 stars. The food was FANTASTIC though. We had the turkey pita melt with chips (not sure if they make the chips there?) and for $ 7/​each, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. So good!
I think I’ll bring my kids here to check it out next time.

They’ve done a great job in here. Beer is cold, selection is good and the staff is friendly. Course is in surprisingly great shape, other courses are hurting with the drought. The indoor simulator is a cool feature too, haven’t seen many of those around SD.

This place is the best! Delicious, quality food for a crazy good price. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and ensures that you have the best experience possible, especially Max. He rocks. I would definitely recommend checking it out

Nice surprise! Just heard about TapIn Tavern today and decided to check it out. Located at the Lake San Marcos executive golf course it’s not only the perfect 19 watering hole but just a great ambience if you’re thirsty and/​or wanna quick bite. Only serving beers at the moment (wine expected soon) but great selection of craft brews served in a frosty mug. The décor is clean and modern with an open air concept and views of the course. I haven’t tried the food yet, but Andrew and Max listed off a few menu items that are worth a try such as the Executive Burger and Pancake Puppies (yes, they serve breakfast from 6:30 — 11:00)! Walking distance from my house, will definitely put this on my route and walk off the beer calories!

Gorgeous remodel. This is an order at the bar kinda place, nothing on tap yet but they are working on that. Good selection of beers in a can though. I think wine may be coming soon. Food is good, I’ve heard breakfast items are awesome. We had an early dinner and the burger was tasty, wrap was good, flat bread was okay. Points though for customizing it for our kids.

Love the Tap In. Great hot dog and an IPA! Excited that I have a place in Lake San Marcos to take my clients and friends.

My family and I were anxious to see the renovation, and the wait was well worth it! The building, food, and staff are first class all the way. For those seeking a great day of golf, followed by an excellent place to enjoy some wonderful food, and ice cold craft beer, this is it!

Surprisngly good! We weren’t even golfing, but friends told us how good the new clubhouse restaurant was. Great food (we had two excellent sandwiches), good selection of beer, and pleasant staff. We saw and need to try the flatbreads and the homemade potato chip nachos! And the skillet breakfasts! Soaring ceilings with view of pine trees feels like you are in the middle of a forest. Sit inside and watch sports, or sit outside and watch golfers tee off! I guess we’ll also have to try dinner since they are open until 9!

First visit to this new restaurant and I’m a fan. It just open and it’s really cute with tons of potential. The atmosphere is easy going and the bartenders were really friendly and helpful.
I tried two of the «Boards», Pesto Pesto and Honey BBQ Chicken. I loved both but would die for more of the BBQ chicken!
This place also sports a virtual golf simulator where people can casually eat, drink, and practice their swing. I didn’t try it out but it looked fun.
All in all, I’m excited to see how this place makes a name for itself. I’ll definitely be coming back since I can walk from my house and they are in the works for their liquor license.
