Food’s good. I love the classic, the only thing I’m not a fan is there is no consistency on the amount of meat you will receive. I’ve been a few times, and every time I either receive very little meat or way to much. My boyfriend and I went the other day, and both got the classic. He added avocado to his, and still received 3 pieces of meat more than I did. Overall great little spot to pick up a decent priced meal, only compliant is working on the portion control/consistency.

Wow! Found this place on Unilocal while driving thru town and it was So worth it! We ordered enough for 4 people(falafel, holy avocado and an order of fried avocado with extra saintly sauce) but it was so good we ate it all!!! Super easy to find just off the interstate.

Neat atmosphere, ordered«classic» and it was alright it didn’t blow my head off. Love the small food start-ups though, consequently I gave 4 stars. Great service too.

For a quick bite to eat not too far away from campus during the craziness of TX State graduation, this place hit the spot! Pitas were warm and tasted fresh. I had the ‘Holy Avocado’, which was creamy deliciousness with a hint of crunchy lettuce and tomatoes – topped off with a bit of spicy Sirracha cream sauce. Great flavor! My hubby had the classic which had a tasty mixture of marinated lamb and beef with lettuce and tomatoes. In our opinion, the pitas are really big here, so come hungry! We will be back and will recommend our friends hit this place whenever they are in town too.

SOTASTY! The gyros here are always fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. Plus, it’s nice to have a little healthier option for lunch. Also, the guys here are always so nice. Food comes out pretty quickly!

Saw this was the only Hitch trailer open on a cold and rainy Black Friday afternoon, and you have to reward that kind of determination. As I stood in the drizzle to put in my order for the usual fried avocado and a Mexican Coke, he asks if I’ve seen the special. Whaaa? *see photo* Omg. Fried green tomatoes and I don’t even need to read the rest of it. «One of those too, please!» I open the bag at home and find two rolls labeled with love. Repeat this experiment yourself and you will find three or four firm, citrusy little medallions of green tomato slightly bigger than the heel of my thumb and dressed in perfect golden breading. Spoiler here, I am a *grilled* green tomato woman but these are welcome friends, well-executed. The romaine is bright emerald ribbons, not sad pale filler. Are there peppers in the remoulade? It’s warmer than garlic and I don’t think it’s horseradish but there are so many flavors going on here. Crunchy bacon, warm golden heat from mystery ingredient, this is feeding my senses and my soul, not just my belly. Yes, I am gushing and being overdramatic. Taste one and see how it makes YOU feel! Fried avocado pita, my previously favorite four-star darling, I fear I have neglected you. But you are already popular with many people, I have a weakness for seasonal ingredients and this interloper was such a beautiful shining example. I promise I’ll eventually return and be faithful until something else this delicious comes along.

This place rules, if you like gyros go here. To start off it is a food trailer at the«hitch» food trailer park. The trailer looks a little run down, but something I have learned about food trucks is that the older they look the better the food, probably because they’ve managed to stay in business for long enough to get the wear and tear. The ordering experience is what you can expect if any food truck, they don’t try and pressure you into buying their more expensive plate or anything and their prices are pretty good, in relation to the portion size. All in all you will be satisfied if you come here, I recommend getting their hummus on your gyro, I think it’s like .75 cents extra!

St. Pita’s is located in a food trailer park that’s a short walk to the river and square. The Classic was delivered quickly with friendly customer service. The moist and perfectly seasoned beef & lamb kebab was served on soft pita bread with just the right amount of sauce and fresh veggies. I wish there had been more tomato and cucumber slices, but no complaints otherwise.

I came here after class one day because I was STARVING and needed something fast and some what healthy. Food: I ordered The Classic which is beef and Lamb! Although it was sloppily made, I enjoyed it. We don’t have many healthy green options in San Marcos so St. Pita’s is a blessing. It’s not to hardy and it’s just right when you want something fresh and light! The food trucks in San Marcos are placed so nicely! It’s especially great for families!

Seriously the best falafel I have had in my entire life. My best friend ordered the Holy Avocado and said it is literally the best pita she has ever had as well. The food is super fresh and amazingly delicious. It’s also very inexpensive for the amount of food you get and t
