Unbelievable customer service! Bar none, the most knowledgable staff I’ve found to date. Ordered Costa del Mar prescription sunglasses, and Diana went so far as to send them back before I picked them up because she was not satisfied with the prescription. She is very patient and knows her stuff. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

Staff was fantastic. My daughter needed a new pair of transition lens and this store helped her pick out her favorite style, fit them to her face, and customized the until she and I were totally happy. My wife then ended up getting her new sunglasses there too.

Outstanding service and an amazing selection! I have purchased 4 pairs of sunglasses here, and every time they listened to what I wanted and made recommendations based on what I told them. They have never tried to up-​sell me for the sake of up-​selling. Sometimes they recommend a pair that is more expensive than what I was originally looking at, sometimes they recommend a pair that’s less expensive. In either case however, I truly feel like they care about meeting my needs and expectations when they make recommendations.
I have purchased Maui Jim and Costa Del Mar sunglasses from them, and they have the best selection of those two brands out of any local retailer. While I’m not into the other designer brands, they still have an amazing selection of models with each brand.
I used to wait for online bargains on name brands in order to save 10 or 20 bucks. But in the end, I usually spent full retail with shipping anyway, and online retailers are never there for you when you run into issues down the line with a pair you bought. Sometimes the online discounters aren’t even in business a year later. I believe Sundown has been there in the same location for more than 10 years, so I never worry about them disappearing.
You can buy with confidence at Sundown. Anytime I’ve ever had an issue with a pair of sunglasses purchased from them, they make it their personal duty to work on your behalf with the manufacturer to resolve the issue quickly. It’s piece of mind as a customer knowing they will handle warranty issues for me.
I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in the door, they even learned my name within a couple visits. Sometimes I only go to browse for 10 minutes, but ANY time I have questions or concerns, they are right there for me. Gary knows more about lens technology than anyone I’ve ever met, and both ladies are friendly, knowledgeable and informative.
If you are looking for name brand sunglasses, this should be your first stop. At the very least they will give you the information so you make the correct decision when the time is right.
