ugh. I am not one to write negative reviews but my experience with Pacific Building Care needs to be shared. The cleaning wasn’t super bad… it was their complete lack of professionalism. I met with what I assume to be one of the owners, Jean, yesterday. She seemed very nice, charming accent… but it was funny — I would ask her a question and she would ignore me and start talking about how well established her business is, great references, etc. A funny tick. Anyhow, She inspected the space, I expressed what is important to me to have cleaned and we agreed on weekly cleanings at her quoted price. I met with her later in the day to give her a key. She and her son cleaned that evening. I came back this morning and I wasn’t really happy with the cleaning. The couch was disheveled and had not been cleaned, there were cobwebs and dust around the windows, the front window had water spots all over it and the bathroom sink still had water deposits and crud around it and in the back. These are all areas and a few more that I had pointed out to her in our meeting earlier in the day. Needless to say, I was disappointed and decided that I didn’t want to continue doing business with them. So, I called and there was no answer. I left a message stating my intentions, said(in the kindest possible way, I’m not a fan of confrontation) that I had found someone else, that I had a check for them and would love to meet at a time that is convenient for both of us to do the exchange. I am a massage therapist and I made this call around 11am. I was booked, back to back, with clients from 12:30−7. Please note, the Spa is a quiet space… I was in between my first and second client, when Jean let herself in to the Spa. I was checking out my client and had another on the table waiting for me. I saw her, and as you can believe, I was completely surprised. I told her to hang on, said goodbye to my client, then stated that it was a bad time to talk and I would be more than happy to call her later in the day to discuss my reasoning and exchange the key/check. She then proceeded to SHOUT at me and tell me that I used her(I never said that I wasnt going to pay her), amongst other things. I said that she was being unreasonable and inappropriate and asked that she please leave. She refused to leave, kept shouting profanities — so much so that my client and others came out to see if I needed help. I finally told her that if she didn’t leave that I would be forced to call the police. She still wouldn’t budge. At last, I handed her a check, took my key and tried to usher her towards the door– still screaming at our esthetician, our clients and I. She stuck her foot in the door so I couldn’t shut it and continued to say terrible, cutting things. She even said that she would write negative reviews on our Unilocal page, even though she has NEVER had a service with us. I was able to finally muscle her out by pushing on the door. We kept the door locked for the rest of the day in fear that she would pay us another visit. I filed a police report. I was so shaken by the experience that I had to, just in case this happens again to someone else, or if she decides to do something to me or my business. The rage from this woman is not small… and it was over something so tiny and simple. i kept thinking about her today and how sad this situation is. If people don’t want to support your business, say thank you for the feedback, keep your head up and grow from the experience. It’s the most integral part of owning a business. So there you have it. I would def not recommend Pacific Building care to anyone.

One of the most pleasant experiences. These guys do great work at a very competitive price. Our carpets look fantastic. Staff is very friendly and professional. We had them respond to a major carpet stain. Amazing. What stain? They now come weekly to take care of the entire building and clean the offices.
