Amazing food and awesome service! Great prices! Loved it and will definitely come back:)

Not what it used to be. I’ve been coming here for years and I would always have a «to go» box with me. Now, the food is bland and covering it with salt doesn’t do much. And their portions are smaller! Salad should be more than just lettuce!

Customer service was excellent. Really nice lady at the register, but the food was too bland for my liking.

I lived right near here, so it was easily my go-to place for Saturday nigh dessert and movies with the roommate! The customer service was always excellent, the girl behind the counter knew my order when she saw me, and the crepes, ice cream, and whipped cream were always delicious! They have the cutest salt and pepper shakers on each of the tables which were always fun to look at. It’s a small space with a good amount of seating.

OK so I’m all for entrepreneurship and what-not, but the new owners are really not hitting it out of the park with this place. This awesome restaurant recently changed hands and now the owner is also the ONE waitress and the cashier and the busser… what? How can you expect to handle heavy lunch traffic when you do this? Also, the food is not as good anymore, either. The chicken in my last crêpe was harder and much chewier(like chicken jerky almost) than any other time and the sauces tasted a bit lackluster by comparison and I used to go a lot, so I know the sauces(and dressings) well. I can look past one negative change, but this was too many not to take note. Get some wait staff, go back to the original or close-to-original ingredients/recipes and I’ll come back for more. For now, I’ll just mourn the loss of another great establishment.

Very sweet, attentive people with excellent food. I had the honey lavender gelato this time around and it was incredible. I want to live here.

Such an amazing place! Went there for lunch and ordered their crêpe of the day(didn’t show a specific name) and I fell in love. It consisted of Monterey cheese, chicken, bacon, artichoke, tomato, and spinach topped off with Alfredo sauce. Such an explosion of flavor! It came with roasted potatoes and the soup of the day which was afican banana. I was not dissapointed with any part of my dish and was astounded by the good prices. Definitely a restaurant that I will be returning to many more times.(:

Quick. Affordable. Tasty. Different. Worth it. Not downtown. Food is fresh. Small parking lot, so be ready. I got the daily special: balsamic glazed chicken, bacon pieces, spinach, almonds, jack cheese, salsa, and sides were chunks of Rosemary sprinkled potatoes and fresh greens with house-made dill ranch. Like I said, worth it.

This place is incredible. It is just the kind of restaurant I needed to find. It is reasonably priced for delicious and creative food. The staff is very friendly and I would consider this place a ‘Best Kept Secret’ of SLO.

Best crêpe iver ever had. Server was very attentive and sweet. So many options with flavor combos. Perfect lunch or dinner spot. Next time I’ll save room for desert.

Le Ciel seems to have gotten tired. Everything was as I remembered it from last time I visited(several years ago) but nothing popped. The sauces were not very flavorful, the meat in my crêpe wasn’t very fresh, and the potatoes were barely warm. We were the only people in here on a Saturday night. The waitress sat reading a paperback and I don’t know what the cook was doing, but certainly not roasting potatoes!

Was in town and excited to get our usuals, but we’re sadly disappointed by the savory crepes. I usually order the Santa Lucia and it was way off its mark, pesto was thick and just honestly not pesto… Flavors were a miss. Come to find out the place went under new ownership and sadly it shows. I gave it 3 stars instead of one because while the savory crêpe was no good the dessert crêpe was delicious. I even think it was a little bigger which is 100% alright with me :) I hope these guys work on there savory crepes cause they r highly disappointing, but if you just want dessert then go ahead and swing by

My lovely British coworker is quite fond of crepes so we stopped in here for lunch on our day off. The weather was gorgeous so we opted to eat on the patio. I had the special, which was a crêpe stuffed with balsamic-glazed chicken and all kinds of other amazing stuff. My coworker had the«Bishop’s Peak». She said the carmelized onions were divine. We both also enjoyed our salads and rosemary potatoes, which were a nice touch that most crêpe cafes don’t offer. Having had a terrible experience with a salmon and avocado crêpe at another establishment, I was cautious. But I can say that Le Ciel really out-does any other crêpe café. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and well put together. I’m looking forward to going back to sample their dessert crepes. Yum!

The crêpe was very good. I had the Hollister Peak. Very healthy and organic tasting. The style is less French and more hippy-healthy. The Banana Coconut African soup was amazing. I highly recommend trying it. It’s warm and a little sweet. The coconut flavor is fairly subtle. The potatoes were not that great. I’m docking a star for the potatoes. They didn’t have much flavor. The presentation and service was great.

This place is AMAZING. I’ve heard good things before so I thought I’d try it out. We tried the Bishop Peak and Poly Canyon crepes. They are both savory and super good! For dessert we had the Santa Margarita crêpe which had warm strawberries and Nutella topped off with vanilla bean ice cream, whip cream and chocolate syrup. This place is a must try :)

This place is amazing. Been here a couple times & it’s never failed me. The food is great & I find myself having to make a tough decision on what to eat. It didn’t get 5 stars just because the service was somewhat unattentive at times & we were confused on whether to wait for the check or go to the register. Plus, for 2 people ordering a de Tolosa, a make-it-yourself crêpe, & a nacimiento, the check came out to $ 40! So be careful what you’re ordering on that build your own crêpe. Definitely coming back regardless, I’ll just pick a ready-made crêpe.

So yummy and fresh fresh fresh! The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I have taken several friends here for lunch and they have all been impressed. Plentiful portions(always leftovers), great prices, fresh eats and friendly customer service. Hidden gem in SLO.

OMG. OMG! O M G. Came here because of a flook. The Thai place I was interested in was closed on Sunday and my boyfriend spotted this place on our way to another one. Thank goodness he did! I had their iced Chai which was amazing! Not too sweet. I also had their special which was buffalo chicken with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, cheese, and spinach, topped with dill/ranch dressing. It was so tasty. Spicy and amazing! Customer service was great. Food was awesome. Highly recommend this place!

A hidden gem. Who knew there was a crêpe place in SLO? FOOD: Delicious! Every crêpe here is great. So much flavor and nice and hot because it’s made to order and with fresh ingredients. Each crêpe comes with a salad or soup of the day. The dessert crepes are awesome as well. Definitely recommend! SERVICE: Friendly and fast ATMOSPHERE: Cute and relaxing :)

I feel bad for giving this place 2 stars because I enjoyed the food. The only issue I had was finding a long piece of hair in my dessert crêpe. The waiter was apologetic and replaced it for me but it’s still pretty gross. I will say that the crêpe was tasty(aside from the hair). The people I went with all enjoyed their desserts too. I had a bite of some gelato and it was pretty good as well. I will definitely be back to give this place another chance in the near future.
