I loved this place. It was empty over the holidays when we randomly came in for an after-dinner drink. Lots of naked girl posters and bras hanging from the shelves. Oh god I bet it’s so horrible when it’s packed with students. The music was insane. And one sad man dancing alone. Our crown on the rocks were perfect.

Happy people and cheap beers, does it get any better then that? Plus they have the hottest guy bartenders in town:)

3.5 It does have zero atmosphere; even dive bars are supposed to have something interesting about them. What made this a good place for a drink was the company — we were with a large group of friends attending a wedding. We relived some good times over a few shots. Also, the bartender was drinking with us; that is always a good time.

The Dirty Truth: Ok, I get that it’s a dive bar, but still… It’s not the worst thing in the world of course, it’s what it’s supposed to be. A place for drinking cheap and trying to hook up with people you should probably stay away from. It kind of always feels like a fight could break out and if you look annoyed by that, a large bro in a medium t shirt would most likely end up asking you what your problem is. I saw a girl trying to play the video game they have there and she was so drunk she thought she was playing while the demo was rolling, so if that’s your thing(and it shouldn’t be) go here: P The staff seemed really nice though and it seems like that’s the general consensus and I didn’t think it smelled that bad. I look for the bright side and it’s not like anything bad happened so try it for yourself, but one of the coolest parts is, is that it has one main door to get in and there are two front doors that go out ;) The Stats: Ambiance: Scuzzy Service: Eessh Cost: Not Cheap Enough To Make It Worth It

Bull’s motto is «Traditional not Trendy» This is a seriously fun drinking establishment. Let me emphasize drinking. The bar manager and bartender, Rich Reynolds, is a legend and superstar. Ask for him. When ordering your drinks you should know the rules: No Salt No Blender No Muddling Got it? Now go. Have fun.

This is one of the most popular bars in town. I came here with a group of about 13. We were all in our 40−50s and were in town for a annual re-union party between about 20 friends who attended Cal Poly. I am part of the group from marrying in! My crew said that the bar was more bright and less dirty then when they went to college at Cal Poly! They actually seemed disappointed. haha. I guess you always want to keep your memories exactly the same. I believe the bar moved a few doors down in the last 5 – 10 years. This is a college bar. Very happening. Drinks are a bit watered down. But good crowd and fun staff! 3 stars for watered down drinks

This isn’t the original«Bull» Tognazzini’s bar that was two store fronts closer to the Old Mission. «Bull» sold it to a Cal Poly football coach/business professor who owned two other bars in Morro Bay and Cambria. He later sold it to former Oakland Raider Dan Conners. Conners then sold it to the syndicate that owns a lot of downtown bars. It was moved two store fronts south from the original location and they did try to repeat the brick exterior design. They also added a much needed(SLOFD requirement) second front exit door. The new site no longer has the personalized ceiling tiles of Cal Poly students. This is a brand new spot and shouldn’t have odors. You’d have to blame the cleanliness on the bar manager and janitor. In the afternoon Bull’s is slow. It picks up at night, especially when Cal Poly is in session. s Bull’
