Communication was great, they came and did my whole house in half a day. Randy is great, professional, and knowledgable. Will definitely go to them for all my carpet needs.

I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I love the way the floors turned out! We got dark wood in our two bedrooms. If I were rating the floors alone they would get a 5. But the service and professionalism gets 3 – 4 stars. The salesman we worked with called with a quote that was a lot higher than we discussed in the store and we had discussed pretty much everything (carpet tear out and disposal, ¼ inch shoes on the bottom, the wood, labor, prep, etc). So I asked for an emailed quote so I could see the differences and he sent an email of just the total again. How funny that he would think that I needed to see the number rather than hear it. No, I want to see each component since the new estimate was 33% more. Then I got a handwritten scanned notebook paper of the breakdown so I guess they don’t usually give an actual quote breakdown. He never checked in on us so I almost went somewhere else. But picking the wood was already a whole process. Another place we looked did call to check in though. Anyways, we bought the wood. We love their installer, one guy who worked hard for a day and a half on our two rooms. Then about 2 – 3 weeks later we got a call from our salesman asking for the other half of the payment. We assumed they would just charge our card because we didn’t hear otherwise. He didn’t ask how we liked the floors or anything. Summary, floors are beautiful, maybe too expensive, install went great, sales service leaves something to be desired.

We recently had Abbey Carpet re-​do our whole upstairs flooring; bamboo flooring, tile, vinyl & 5 rooms of carpet! We are both busy working parents and Steve made the process an absolute breeze & as stressless as possible. Getting new flooring is a big decision and you want it done right. I would highly recommend anyone to go to them.

I am a fan of SLO Abbey Car pet! What I really liked the most (besides the obviously large selection of flooring) is the customer service. I didn’t feel like I was in a place that was trying to sell me the most expensive product; on the opposite, they listened to my needs and wants and presented me only the products that worked for ME — in my price category, my color scheme and my timeline. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-​free. I am overall happy with everything… except… the installer they sent was amazing in terms of quality but soooooo sloooooowwwww and didn’t vacuum after he was done (big deal, considering carpet fringe was everywhere). But even that didn’t take away from the 5-​star service I received.

Great place! I was looking for new carpet for a bedroom I was remodeling, and Abbey carpet has such a great selection that I found the PERFECT carpet within 10 minutes of browsing their selection. They have a really wide range of carpets and flooring, just about any style or color you would need. I even saw some awesome zebra print carpet that was really tempting but sadly it wouldn’t have gone quite right with my décor. I ended up choosing a carpet remnant because it was perfect for the room and it was almost the exact size I needed. Plus it was a great bargain! They were able to hold the carpet for me until I was able to pick it up, no problem. I ended up getting carpet padding also, to underneath the carpet, and had them installed at the same time. The room turned out so perfect, and I get compliments on my beautiful carpet all the time. I’m definitely going back next time I need flooring!
