Way overpriced for almost everything ESPECIALLY simple framing jobs. If you are buying canvases WAIT until they go on sale(note that everything is way overpriced so even when something is «on sale» it might just be considered«normal price» elsewhere). I REALLY can’t stand it when an arogant associate try’s to convince you to pay $ 1200 to frame a $ 50 print!!!

Was tasked with the job of framing a canvas for a friend. I have always had excellent service from the Aaron brothers at my local location(was in town visiting) so I chose to try this place. Not only was the person behind the counter helpful, she really went out of her way to take her time and help me choose the best frame possible. The result is perfect! She did it while I waited and I was so happy and so was my friend, with my choice! @thatgalkiki

Large selection of frames. Do a good jobs with custom frames. A bit expensive for custom work though. Standard frames and supplies are fairly priced.

I don’t want to put down opportunities to shop locally, even at a large chain, but i had an odd experience a few days ago. I brought in some posters that needed to be trimmed and mounted on boards. I was cut off in mid-sentence by the salesperson with a smugly curt«we don’t cut posters». His whole demeanor was so blatantly unhelpful I was taken aback. He had a really puzzling attitude in response to my simple request. After asking several questions(they’d done this very thing for me a few years ago), the salesperson told me there was a recent liability lawsuit resulting in Aaron Brothers being unable to provide trimming services. I was so curious that I went online to investigate, but cannot find any lawsuits other than some EEOC related case — nothing to do with trimming, unless you count trimming employees’ paychecks! I don’t know if the salesperson was fibbing, or just what the situation is, but full service is apparently no longer part of their framing experience. One of the customers suggested trying Michael’s instead, but guess who is the parent company of Aaron Brothers? I think I“ll go more deeply local in my framing search and use a nearby shop that is more of a one-stop operation. Also, I would like to suggest to Aaron Brothers that when they are unable to fulfill a request, maybe they could offer an alternative, or at least a kinder, gentler, more customer-friendly attitude.

Aaron’s has the area’s best selection of frames and mattes in the area. If you have a pieces of artwork or a photo which needs framing, make them your first stop if you’d like to find that perfect setup. Be warned, their prices aren’t cheap. Nonetheless, you do get a quality product which helps accent anything you place inside of it.

I was in the area, and knowing other Aaron Brothers art supply stores. this store is the«above average» art supply store for crafting and art. If you shop here, I would suggest you always check the local papers for sale items. I would also suggest that since they represent hundreds of different art manufacturing items, you might really understand what you need. Aaron Brothers do try to provide their consumers with a high level of quality at a consumer price. I did check out the options in oil paint supplies and found them to be be quite excellent. I also noticed that their drafting supplies for drawing and layout are pretty good. I would come around again.

This place has mass consumer art supplies and some decent sales, especially in January. You really have to watch which canvases you purchase however. I am quite fond of the 24×48 canvas size(and larger). they sell a ¾″ canvas that is absolute crap!!! The canvas twists and bends in a matter of days and the only solution is to mount it in a heavy frame(detracts from my style) or re-stretch it costing more coin. I would go with the 1.5″-3″ and get them on sale and save yourself the trouble.
