Lisa B. has been doing my hair for almost 10 years now and is a wonderful hair dresser. Very professional, upbeat and family oriented. The shop is very cozy and well stocked with lots of pictures of her creations and her accomplishments including her appearances on The Tyra Banks Show, The Ricki Lake Show and America’s Next Top Model showing off her Fantasy Hair Line and Hair Wars awards. All I can say is I love my shop and you will too…

Omg Love Love Love Lisa b!!! l have mixed hair so it is really curly. I’d go to other salons and they’d never get the roots straight!!! I saw one of my Co workers, who has the same type of hair, her hair was bone straight!!! Inaskednher where she got got her hair done at she said Lisa B, but never would give me the number!!! I googled her name and salon and address came up and I was there in a matter of hours!!! My hair is very straight and silky, I get compliments every where I go!!! This lady is awesome… she was even on America’s Next Top Model y’all!

UPDATE: The last weave I got by Zinell looked great for over 2months, I finally got another one and she did an absolutely Gorgeous job! *see pics above* I always leave a little of my own hair out to camoflauge the extensions and she was able to make my natural hair blend beautifully with the yaki hair. UPDATE: Zinell has done it again, i just got a bone straight weave and it looks so awesome! see pics above Almost 3 years ago I moved to the Bay Area and the only hair dresser I’ve ever had, wanted and needed here is now working at Turning Heads Hair Salon! Zinell has taken care of my natural hair(she also does relaxed/permed hair, of course) doing everything from deep conditioning to trims to flat irons to straw sets and she’s given me drop dead gorgeous twists several times – all reasonably priced. By reasonably priced I mean just that – I’ve never asked the question«what do you charge for xyz?» and ended up fainting or saying«give me a f@*#ing break!» Instead, I actually think«yeah, that sounds about right.» This year, I ventured into a land I haven’t explored in ages: *cue scary music* THELANDOFTHEWEAVES. Let me be clear here, I typically hate weaves, they always look really fake and they move awkwardly and they’re overpriced. Lately, however, I had been so bored with my own hair and in desperate need of change I called Zinell and asked for help. Zinell: «If you really want a drastic change without cutting your hair, why not try a weave? it’ll give you a break from doing your own hair too» Me: «I thought about that but I wouldn’t even know what kind of hair would work best for me, the style, the color, the texture, I wouldn’t know where to begin» Zinell: «Well, we both know you like BIG hair, I help you figure it out at the shop» And she did just that! Always flexible and sensitive to my work schedule needs, she set up an appointment and we walked across the street from the shop to pick out hair at Chris’s Beauty Supply. It’s literally a three minute walk from the shop. She gave me a crash course in curly weaving hair and off we went. Only 2 ½ hours later, I was all weaved up and pleasantly surprised with how much I fucking LOVED it! She made it look as natural as possible and blew it out to give it the bigness factor I like. Three wks later I’m still shakin it, fluffin it and, yes, turning heads… with leftover $$ to go out and show it off!
