We used to live in San Leandro, but never attended mass here. We would always go to St. Felicitas.
Since that time, my nephew has gone to school here. Have only heard good things about the church and the school. The church looks quite nice, and the pews have been filled during our visits here.
Good enough for me to give them 4 stars.

Back in the days of Msgr. Lucid and Father Mark, Assumption was a place that was packed to the brim with faithful parishioners. Today’s leadership is reprehensible. I am not a religious man, but I am considerate to those who wish to find a nice church to attend. To Catholics wondering if this is the church for them, go to Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Felicitas, St. Joachim’s, or even St. John’s for a good church with a pastor worthy of respect. Steer clear of Assumption til their pastor is removed and replaced by someone who deserves that position.
