terrible. just terrible. long lines because of slow employees who would rather chit chat then help customers. they’ll forget you food order. they’ll mess up your drink order. just go to peets

Cassie was very rude! Threw my straw on the counter and walked away. She made it obvious she didn’t want to make my drink and just wanted to go home. (it was about to close in 15mins) I understand working at Starbucks isn’t an ideal job for her or she probably hates her life but that doesn’t mean you can be rude to strangers. I am definitely not going back because of her.

Came here to get an iced green tea latte today. Service was great! Was in and out of the place in less than 5 minutes.
The place is spacious and there are plenty of tables for people to study or chat. Not a lot of parking spaces in the lot, but there’s street parking across the street. Overall, good place to come for some coffee and studying!

I avoid this location at all costs. Average time for a mobile order 11 minutes plus the time you have to wait for the barista to acknowledge you are even there. The coffee bar is always a mess and the canisters are empty so you have to ask someone to refill the half and half. I overheard someone complain and the employee just gave him a blank stare. The locations in the city are even busier and you don’t have to put up with this crap service.

I don’t really write reviews about Starbucks because I’m always in and out, but this is the liveliest Starbucks I’ve been to with great service and great staff despite the busy mornings! Love how it’s spacious also.

We went during a lunch hour, as we were visiting a meat market nearby and wanted to wait for some packaging up for an order.
We walked down to Starbucks to grab a drink really quickly and they were very very busy. The baristas were laughing and having a great time though with all of the customers and were super patient with me when I tried to get my phone app to pull up and it was having issues. But luckily, I still carry my gold card and we ended up using that.
The drinks were great and the café was clean. Again, everyone was smiling, laughing, having a good time, and really engaging with the customers. We had a great time.

Beat Starbucks I’ve ever been to! I’ve been here early mornings, afternoon for lunch, and right after work. All times of the day, the staff are always very welcoming and warm. They like to engage in conversation with you, and are not stuffy (I encounter that often from Starbucks employees from other locations).
I get lots of cozy and warm vibes here. Perfect hang out spot for a cold, gloomy and windy afternoon (first analogy that comes to mind, don’t ask). Not too spacious, but not too small either. Prefer this location over the Starbucks by the high school or bayfair.

Came in with my girlfriend to get a drink for herself. I had a drink already from another Starbucks and it wasn’t very good. Joking said to my girlfriend that maybe they’d help me sweeten it. I changed my mind at the register and said, «It’s okay I already drank most of it anyways!» So my girlfriend orders her drink and a venti strawberry acai refresher comes out (the drink I already had) and it has 3 pumps of classic. Didn’t think it was for me. So when my girlfriend was putting in all her fixings for her coffee, Vanessa tapped me on the shoulder and told me the drink was for me. I couldn’t believe it. Amazing customer service. I was so surprised. Thank you, Vanessa!

I’m only writing this review for this Starbucks because of Jennifer and the morning crew here.
She is so happy and welcoming and just really knows the right words to say to you to get your day going. I had this one bum day that just started off wrong. I rushed to Starbucks hoping it would cheer me up so I can get the day going. Here comes Jennifer, all chirpy and happy and just filling you with compliments. She’s so amazing and her happiness is contagious that you leave feeling 10x better than when you came in, even if you were only in there for 5 minutes!

Not here during the early morning crush, but there was a line and it moved quickly. Consistently good coffee.

This is the slowest most inefficient Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I actually avoid ordering anything other than black coffee so I don’t have to wait 20 minutes. Seems like everyone is running around but the line never moves. Avoid if possible.

I love coming here to get my local cup of coffee. This place has has such a great atmosphere: the couches in the side room near the windows, the spacious tables where many people come to chat or study, the wonderful staff working, the list goes on. The workers here are so much friendlier than many other places.
The vibe about this place is just great, no complaints.

This Starbucks is one of the best I’ve visited. As an ex partner for Starbucks myself, working at three different locations, nationwide, I can easily say I love this one.
It’s morning vibe is uplifting friendly and productive. The lines are typical but the service is great.
Hopefully you have the opportunity of meetingJennifer. She is the light of the store and everyone remembers her kind and giving spirit. Some stranger you’d tell them you love them.
I hope people on the commute get off the interstate for this Starbucks because it is worth it.
I can tell they have a strong local following. They have groups and groups and groups of people sitting meeting chatting for hours every morning.

Nice atmosphere and friendly baristas just tried their Beast Mode coffee blend and I must say it hit the spot

The staff that works at this location is what makes this store so great! Kailyn, Desiree, Alex, Erika, and Ronnie are terrific. I am always greeted when I walk in the store. My drinks are always done correctly and efficiently. There seems to a lot of staff turnover lately, but the new employees are being trained correctly by the existing staff.
This store is usually pretty busy, but the staff keeps it very clean. I am in the store 1 – 2 times daily and always enjoy going here. Parking can be an issue at times, but if you are patient you can find a space.

The first Starbucks that I actually like and enjoy being in! The ambience of this location is completely unlike other locations I’ve been to. For one, the environment had dimmed lighting and modern furniture. The place was also not too crowded and there were several vacant tables and chairs. The workers were also friendly and provided efficient service. This is a hidden gem!

Jennifer brightens my mornings! She’s the super outgoing, always happy, very chatty barista, and she makes every visit so much better (SERIOUSLY!). she takes time to talk to her customers and get to know them. This location is also pretty quick, even on crowded mornings before work. They’ve got their system down pat!

This update to my review is long over due. I have now become a regular at this starbucks. My office moved next door. I come in everyday i am in the office. They have gotten to know my drinks and make them exactly the way i want them. They all remember my name and are so friendly. I typically get three drinks.
Chai Tea Latte with an extra pump of Chai no water.

Iced Green Tea no added sugar
What ever they make for me it comes out exactly how i want it. IMO this is the best Starbucks in San Leandro.

The best thing about this Starbucks is its super friendly staff. They are bright and cheery in the morning when I go in there around 7 am. They know their regular customers’ names and their favorite drinks here too. The other plus is that there isn’t a long line at that time in the morning. I can be in and out of there in 5 minutes. It helps that I don’t order a drink that takes 10 words to describe. Mine takes only a few words – Tall Americano or Grande Iced Tea.
The seating here is plentiful. There is a large communal table and several small bistro tables, and for those who like to use their laptops here, power outlets on the wall and floor. There are also several tables outside with umbrellas.
I ordered a bagel today and I really wish that they would serve their food on plates. It would have been easier and less messy to have the bagel and cream cheese on a plate. And it means less paper waste! They also need to serve coffee in mugs for people who are drinking their coffee in the café. Come on, Starbucks! You need to be greener in your operations! This would make a lot of impact as they have thousands of cafes all over the globe.
