These guys seem friendly and nice, but are really screwing me over. After setting up an appointment and confirming my insurance would cover expenses with both my insurance and the sleep disorders center, i agreed to a study. I got my results and everything was fine. 6 months later I get a call from collections that I owe these people almost $ 500 dollars. I never got a bill. I never got a call. I never got an email — all information I submitted to them before the study. So, hearing suddenly that I now have a bill in collections, I call them, lady at the san leandro sleep center tells me there is nothing she can do and to call some other number. I leave a message never get a call back. I’ve called them 6 times, left various messages for the same person 5 times. She never appears to work or call back. All I need is a bill. All I need is an itemized bill and my medical reimbursement fund will cover it. All I need is one document showing what I’m being charged for and they can get their money I feel they tricked me out of. I’m even willing to pay them just to make it go away BUTALL I NEEDIS A DAMNBILL. I don’t know if its incompetence, or if they’re purposely scamming people. Either way, STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACEANDTHEIRPARENTCOMPANY. I’m going to end up in small claims court just because they’re too lazy to send me a bill. sucks

I have been here for 2 nights now. The first was to determine whether I have sleep apnea or not, the second was to get a CPAP and its pressure settings figured out for me. They are really nice at this location. Valerie was my technician both times and she was really fun and friendly. I am not gonna lie, the first night was terrible from a sleeping quality standpoint. It’s not easy sleeping with a bundle of cables attached all over your body and face, not being able to sleep on your stomach and generally know that you are being watched all night. So I was not super happy to have to go through this again. The second night was a better experience. Although I must say that I was greeted in by an angry looking asian woman. I was hoping not to have her as my technician, thank god she wasn’t. Anyway, I still had a sh#tload of cables attached to myself, but it felt like I got some hours of sleep with the CPAP mask on. You are supposed to leave the center at around 6am, I guess that’s good if you have to work, but I doubt that anyone can endure a full work day after doing a study here, since sleeping here isn’t the same as home. I would come here again. Even though it’s not the most fun activity in the bay. ;)
