Nice venue to host a party, attend a craft fair, cater an event, or attend an exercise class… spacious, plenty of parking, clean, and reasonable rental prices.

This is what a community center is all about! The Marina Community Center holds many classes here. Arts & Crafts, Dance, Senior activities and Zumba just to name a few. There are several rooms available to rent for business events or parties… and the prices are reasonable. They will set everything up for you… tables and chairs.(One less thing to worry about!) You can register here for any of the classes that the City of San Leandro offer. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the place is clean. The only exception is that the women’s restroom has an odor to it. Kinda like a convalescent hospital smell. :-(Hold your nose!(I’m sure this can be easily fixed with some continuous spray of some sort or a good bleach down.) A generous parking lot is available on site along with«Event» parking along the street(Wicks Blvd). This by far is one of the best places to hold an event in San Leandro.

The company I work for hosts meetings every month at the Marina Community Center and I just wanted to say that they do a great job. The staff is professional and very helpful. It is easy to book. The facilities are clean, high capacity and they even have a kitchen! Keep up the great work.

After growing up in good ‘olé SL and living here I have visited the MCC countless times. I shook my bon-bon here while attending highschool dances(Arroyo baby!), sweated it out during Zumba classes and even catered events when I worked for Miraglia’s. My Hub and my bro-in law worked here loooong ago. The establishment has many multipurpose rooms for rent, an outside patio area and plenty of parking. The employees for the most part are friendly and direct you to where you need to go. It has always been clean and kept up. It is worth checking out when you need a place to hold an event. The prices are reasonable and there is a discount if you are a SL resident renting a room.

We visited the Marina Community Center for a show. I think that this Community center is a really nice venue to throw a big party. There is a great big stage for a band or performance. There are LOADS of free parking. The venue is pretty clean, and the neighborhood isn’t half bad. And, if you need the kiddies to release extra energy, send them to play at the park across the street.

This venue is perfect for a party or small gathering. It’s also inexpensive and has plenty of parking. The only thing that kind of sucks is you only get this place for a few hours at a time… either from 1−5pm or 5−10pm.

MCC you are so awesome. Even more awesome than the SCC in my opinion. I’ve been coming here since I was a teen. I remember all the service events I did with Key Club here throughout my high school years. Good times.

I took my little girl here for a tot class called«Egg Creations.» She’s been enrolled in Gymboree for quite some time now & seems to not like it as much as before, so I decided to try out a local different activity. Egg Creations theme for the night was fun! The community center is easy to get to. The room the kids were in definitely had enough space and was clean. We dyed eggs, colored paper eggs, drew an egg tree, decorated foam eggs, had an egg hunt, and got Easter cookies at the end of class! I am glad the City offers all kinds of classes to the local community!
