I came here by just by luck. I had a very important event coming up the same day my steamer broke. After trying three different dry cleaners she was willing to help me. Since it was past a certain time I guess cleaners turn off their steamers after 1. She was definitely willing to help me even though hers was off she took my dress and hand steamed it! Now that’s customer service! Her kindness and help is most appreciated! I will definitely be back here.

I do wash and fold here. When you let it pile up too long, beats the laundry room! Make sure they charge you the right price per pound of laundry!

I brought about 10 shirts to get fitted. The lady had a bad attitude. She asked me why I got the shirts so big. I told her it was because I have a big neck. She acted like she was going to do a huge favor for me.
She charged me over $ 400.00.
The clothes were not ready when she said they would be. I came back a week later and they were still not all ready.
Bad attitude, irresponsible, above average price.

I went to drop a bunch of shirts today and the staff was very friendly and even gave me a bandaid because somehow I nicked my nuckle on something between transferring my clothes from my house to the car. Hopefully I receive the same great service when I pick up my clothes

Joy cleaners does a great job every time on time and for a very reasonable price. Stella and her husband are super friendly and Stella does excellent alterations. (Don’t tell anyone but she’ll even sew buttons and loops for no charge if you’re a nice repeat customer.) We’re lucky to have these folks in our neighborhood.

Ive been here a few times and the service they provide is good. Took a few shirts and pants for alteration along with a suit for cleaning and a nice white color silk Guayabera and Joys did a good job cleaning it. Close to home, friendly lady good attitude will keep coming back.

Yes! Where other alterators failed me miserably, Joy was MAGNIFICENT! Had a tear in my garment in a pretty unforgiving place, and she saved it!!! She truly has my heart. Will certainly be back!

I’ve been here a few times, and have been happy with the way my work suits look when I pick them up each time. The customer service is lackluster at first, but as I’ve become more familiar it has improved. Overall decent prices and turnaround time for pick up keep me coming back.

Here is the story. I bought a white dress and didn’t check that somebody put a 4 inch blue pen mark on the dress. I know it’s ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ that the pen mark can come off. Stella the owner told me the same. She was able to remove the mark. It is not visible unless I point it out. Excellent communication and services. Definitely recommend.

i love this place! Stella is so kind, remembers everyone and does a great job. Full wash and fold– even hanging items the will wrinkle if folded without asking!
I trust her with everything and cant recommend her enough!

Joy cleaners is my to go place for any laundry needs!!!
I use to live down the street so it was convenient for me and the service is GREAT!!! Even though I live in Fremont now I still drive to San Leandro to go here because that’s how good they are.
Estella takes care of everything for me from
*alternations (I’m only 4’7 so I need a lot of alternations which Estella does perfectly for me everytime)
*dry cleaning (I always send in my boyfriends dress pants and shirts and she takes real good care of it and not too expensive either)
*wash and fold (I work nearly 7 days a week so I send in my laundry about once a month and by that time I don’t have anything to wear and she will wash and food my clothes within a day or two)
Estella is great!!! She calls to inform me when my clothes are finish so I can pick them up early and she even stays back to wait for me sometimes if I get out of work late!!!

The quality of service is superb at Joy Cleaners in San Leandro.
Stella is very helpful and no task is too hard for her to take on. I’ve known her to make covers for couch cushions according to a customer’s request. She’s very keen on perfection when it comes to alterations, and will always make sure the customer is happy.
Consultation on alterations are free, just bring in your garments and she will explain what she can do, how she will do it, and how much it will be.
Although alteration is her specialty, she is very meticulous with your garments, finding stains that you may not have noticed yourself. This allows the dry cleaning process to work perfectly and make your garments look as good as new.
Please note that there are some stains that Dry Cleaning alone cannot undo. For instance ink, or pet urine.
