I rented a 20 ft container for 4 weeks for temporary on-site storage. I chose Haulaway over the other choices because the price, container size, and availability worked best in my situation. I wanted at 20ft container. I only needed it for 1 month. I needed delivery before the weekend. I only needed on-site storage(no need to move the loaded container.) They had a delivery opening the day after I got my quote, although this is probably not typical. I clearly marked where I wanted the container delivered, and the driver was able to do so without me being present. Container was right where I wanted it. The container was a standard 20ft steel container. It had been recently painted and was clean inside. Doors worked and it had decent protection for the padlock that I provided. Also, I was able to conduct most of the business by email, which I find to be a positive. Overall, I was very satisfied with my rental and will contact them again if I need on-site storage. Two negatives that prevent me from giving 5 stars: When I rented, I was told that when I was ready for pick up, the billing would end that day and pick up would be within 3 or 4 days. However, when I did inform them on a Monday(4 days before my 4 week rental was up), I was given a pick up date the following week. This was annoying as the empty container was in the way the following weekend when the next stage of my project was starting. Second, about 2 weeks after I requested the pick up, I received an invoice in the mail for another 4 weeks. I immediately informed my contact at Haulaway about the billing problem, and was assured it was only a billing problem, and I was not responsible for the 3 extra days due to their delayed pick up. Then a few days later, I received a notice from my credit card that I was being charged for another month by Haulaway. After another few messages to Haulaway, the charges disappeared. I am convinced that this was really a internal billing problem, but it is really something Haulaway should address. Again, even with these two items, I’d still consider Haulaway for future rentals.
