This place is whack as hell now I see why there’s never any people here. The taco truck up the street next to car wash is ten times better than here. My husband and I got super skinny skimpy burritos that had no flavor and the taco al pastor was nasty. Go somewhere else this is not good at all. Did not hit the spot what a disappointment for Mexican food. Save ur money and go elsewhere

This taco truck is about the only taco truck in the bayfair area of San Leandro. Its operation of business in front of Bayfair Macy is only on Friday evenings and Weekend. They are normally at their new location which is located near CVS and AutoZone near Harry’s Hofbrau like 148th Avenue and International… I like their tacos however they are a little bit more higher than the taco trucks in Oakland. Elia tacos are $ 1.75 versus Oakland’s $ 1.25. It’s ok they customer service is good and the steak meat has not fat on it. They are very taste… a must try!!!

Solid street food served quick with a smile. Tacos and other goods are both inexpensive and tasty. The tacos were served with all of the side fixings. Radish is one of my favies and sure enough it was there. They have Mexican sodas as well as some energy drinks. I will return next time I have a hankering for tacos after work. Give it a try.

Taco trucks, why do I love you so much more than I love regular restaurants? You are always better. This little cute taco truck is no exception. We were slightly confused when we ordered, because we ordered 4 tacos and it was only I think $ 4.50, but that’s because they’re actually smaller tacos than usual. However, 2 each was perfect for an early evening snack while we were running errands at Staples and Target. We will probably continue to go to our usual Hayward taco truck, but swing by this one if we happen to be up in San Leandro sometime.

LOVE this little taco truck. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time and a great price. I live literally a stones throw from this taco truck and I stop by at least a couple times a week. Can’t go wrong with this spot and they are super friendly VIVALAELIASTACOS!

Most of the time, I prefer a cute sit down restaurant with great ambiance and food. This location is not the most quiet and can draw skechy people. Despite that, I will come here again and again and even do it like the rest and eat at the sidewalk with the juices running down my arms. I like their tacos a lot! The perfect small little portions with really great flavors! You can choose from all types of meats including lengua(beef toungue) and chorizo. The size is fairly small but enough. I would say this is a snack type of meal. Per the owner’s– they are open M-Sat till 9 pm. Stop by this place if you are in the area or maybe shopping at the farmers market.

This place is cool if your hungry and in the area… i wouldn’t drive across town to come here… The food is hit or miss… Sometimes the food is amazing sometimes its gross… LACKSCONSISTENCY… I come here often since its just around the corner from my house. Burritos are no the best so stick with tacos.

Wow i mean homeboy with the first review kinda said it in a nice way, sometimes they nice, towardw the end of the day they run out of whatever… wtf…first of all if you ever been to the town(oakland for squares), this taco truck aint shit no disrespect but lets be honest with ourselves, if you from the town like me this place is bootsy, now if im super hungery i will eat there last resort, but plz dont thingk i think its the best truck in the east bay, they tacos carned asada are dry, they burritos are weak lil sour cream, etc aint nothin like the town, again i’ve never witnessed tacos dry, on top of that they burritos ain that gd, if you from the town you know what im talking bout, this place i might go to if im desperate and the gitrl who works there is fine but it aint’ nothin compared to tacos in the town, stay away unless you desperate, and im telling you this and i literally live a couple blocks awayt, id rather go drive to the to town(and i drive for living) then go to this place, plus they close early and are mo expensivve then the town

Who doesn’t like taco trucks right? I mean taco trucks are the best kept secrets that everyone knows about but rarely ever tries out. I know it’s not the same as good old Mexican food from sunny San Diego(which I’m just spoiled with) but some of the items from Elia’s isn’t too shabby. I got the carne asada burrito, and was a little disappointed because the carne asada was a bit tough. Maybe they just have not as good carne asada or maybe it was a bad batch, but not my cup of tea. My bf got the carnitas burrito and my oh my was that yummy! Very tender and delicious, just how carnitas is supposed to taste! The people who ran the taco truck were very friendly and patient with our unique way of ordering to the bay area folks. Yes, we’re from SoCal and yes we are used to the authentic delicious Mexican food where there is no… I repeat NO rice and beans in the burritos. So most of the places we go to up here probably think we’re strange and give us weird looks for requesting no rice and beans in the burrito but they were extremely nice about it. I had to take away two stars for the carne asada, but other than that… pretty darn tasty.

They are still there! And we still love ‘em. They know my son as «taco boy» because every time my dad takes my lil man, he always goes to the window saying«tah-co!!» They are soo sweet and the food is always great! They’re also so close! Hmm… I’m actually craving something now…

$ 4.70 for 2 tacos al pastor and 1 ½ liter of Mexican Coke. Whoa! One of the best and delicious deals I’ve found in SL. A co-worker of mine introduced me to Elia’s, and I have to admit I was a bit hesitant and skeptical. She always gets the tortas, which I have yet to try. The Mexican coke is just like I remember it, cold and way too sweet to drink the whole thing.

I heart this taco truck! I live in close proximity to this truck and it is such a lifesaver! The tacos are $ 1.25 and everything else is $ 4, like the tortas, quesadillas and burritos. And yes, the couple who own it are super sweet… I normally get the Lengua burrito and i’m good to go… If you’re ever near bayfair, ya’ll should try it!

Yes that taco truck! The one always parked on E 14th right outside of Bayfair. Don’t go during the farmer’s market because they will be too busy… but they are there most daylight hours. The couple is nice, and the food is very fresh. They also pack your tacos to go if you are lazy like me and only went there because you didn’t feel like cooking(oh the shame…)
