This store and its associates have screwed me over many times. They don’t know the products and promotions they are selling and sold me a bunch of BS and now I am stuck with my current crap and can’t get out without paying an obscene amount. Their customer service sucks and the management is horrible. I find it ridiculous that they say what they want and if you call customer service it’s a totally different thing

What kind of customer service is this? I bought a hotspot to use for business and it didn’t even end up working. Now they want me to pay over $ 500 to cancel it? Why should I have to pay when the product doesn’t even work. I definitely don’t want to be stuck with a contract with this thing for 2 years. Unbelievable.

Dishonest business. Bad experience. Be careful. The process felt like I was purchasing a used car. I was aware enough to catch onto their shenanigans, but many customers, I am sure, fall prey to their tactics. Go to a Verizon owned store, not a franchised retailer! I went to the store to add a friend to my existing Verizon plan. While at the store, due to a promotion, I elected to purchase a new iPhone for my friend instead of having him use my old iPhone. Maria agreed to include, at no charge, the protective case and glass protector for the new iPhone. While going through the purchasing process, Maria insisted I was required to purchase an insurance plan for the new phone, but I could call her in two weeks to cancel the insurance. When I told her I would just call Verizon directly, she stammered and repeated I could easily call her directly to have the insurance removed. When I questioned the veracity of the required charge, she insisted the insurance was required. At the point of sale, when I told Maria I would like to review the bill because the total seemed high, she quickly scrolled down her computer screen, with me in view, and stated the charges were legitimate and the total was correct. When I had her review each charge with me, as I wrote the charges down on a separate piece of paper, surprise, I was charged approximately $ 60.00 for the protective iPhone cover and glass protector. It is only at this time Maria stammered, «Oh, I cannot include, at no charge, the protective cover and glass protector.» Dishonest practices. As soon as I left the store, I contacted Verizon directly. I was told by the representative that obtaining insurance was not required. Maria lied. Fifteen minutes later, Maria called me to tell me I had to come back to the store to provide a copy of my driver’s license as well as a credit card authorization. When I asked her why I had to sign a credit card authorization, she stated it was a requirement in the event I should cancel service on the added line prior to the expiration of the two year contract. At this point, because I did not believe one word coming out of the mouth of Maria or her manager, I contacted Verizon directly while at the store to ask if a credit card authorization was required to have on file in the event I cancel my two year contract with Verizon. Verizon stated it was not a requirement. Maria and her manager lied. While at the store, a copy of my driver’s license was made, and I left the store; never, never to go back.

A week ago I came I to this store and was wondering about an upgrade deal. Well Joaquin was very helpful. He informed me about it and was very attentive in his explaining. I also mentioned how I had a bill issue for next month, it turns out I had an outdated plan. He updated me to extra data and unlimited minutes for no extra charge on my bill or in store. Well last night I lost my phone that had my entire life in it. I currently am not making a enough to randomly spend $ 200 here and there. I explained him the situation and mentioned how I am available for the edge program. The tricky part. I lost my phone. He was able to work something out with the help of his manager Taylor. He made it so I could get a new phone with an upgrade for a very affordable price. He explained everything in detail and spent two hours just helping me. He even sold me a tablet for a very affordable price on my plan and in store. He was worried about the product not turning on that he told me to go run my errands while he fixed it. I am extremely happy in their service and how helpful they were. I even thanked the manager and he said«I don’t even think I did anything.» Wrong Taylor! You helped Joaquin answer some of my questions so he could ensure honesty and customer service. I’ll wait a month or two to update this review. Just to let Unilocal know how it all worked out in the long run. As of right now though I am very happy.

Great experience at the Verizon store. Fiancé came in to upgrade her phone. Abel did a great job and was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable on product info and answered all our questions.

I purchased an upgrade and thought I was negotiating a better plan only to find out that the plan was never implemented with Verizon because this location is actually a retailer store. Yes, it says it on the sign but I asked if that would affect the services they could provide to which the answer was no. It took two hours and I was tossed back and forth between the manager, Mr. Rojas, and other staff. The phone I was sold is also a refurbished phone and I was told it was new. The insurance I purchased had to go through a third party because the retailer is not an actual Verizon entity. I suggest Verizon online over this establishment. They have online customer service agents and you can do it without time suckage and dishonest sales tactics.

I’ve never written a review on anything before until now. I think it’s only fair to share my wonderful experience so others can go to this Verizon store and get the above and beyond costumer service I received. After many attempts thru other Verizon sources of getting the run around I was to the point of switching Carriers. My contract was up and even though I expressed my contract being up to the 611 customer service they did not care that I was leaving them to go to another carrier. There are customer reps that truly don’t value the customers like they repeatedly say to us as if they are reading from a Verizon script. As fed up with Verizon as I was I did have a droid Maxx that I recently got as an upgrade but was not happy with so I needed to return it by the 14th day. I was only planning on returning it until a customer rep named Juan came and helped me. It was only because of his service that kept me staying with Verizon. The entire time I was there I watched the reps give the best customer service to each individual that came into the store. Considering the high volume of customers that came thru the doors they handled the pressure impressively. I recommend anyone who wants the best deals and prompt service to visit this San Juan Capistrano location.

Just walked in and got 2 new iPhones for my parents added to the family plan. Aaron and Russell were super helpful with all the paperwork and took the time to explain all of the details on the itemized bill. I especially appreciated how patient they were with my dad, who is not the most tech savvy guy. I think he was overwhelmed by everything on the iPhone and Aaron was really helpful. Amazing customer service, honestly hard to come by these days. And my parents are pretty stoked about their phones.
