Bluebird Antiques and Collectibles

Not a fan, especially after our last purchase. We bought a beautiful antique frame, which just so happened to be infested with termites. Went back and spoke to the owner about it, and all she said was ‘next time you come in bring me good news instead’.
For $ 700, we expected something in sellable condition. This was obviously not the case.

I like shopping at this antique store when I get over to San Juan Bautista. This store sells mostly jewelry. I like to search for bargains on costume jewelry here. However, there are many other things for sale at this store as well. The prices are pretty reasonable. I have found some great deals here. The only thing that I do not like about this antique store is that they do not accept credit cards. I never heard of any store not accepting credit cards nowadays. Believe me when I say, I would be spending more in this store if they did accept credit cards. I do not want to have to go to a nearby ATM to get cash out as those machines usually charge. The clerk suggested that I use the ATM, no thank you. I guess it is a good thing that they do not accept credit cards. That means that I will be less tempted to find a lot to buy at this store. I will still enjoy buying a few things but no major purchases will I consider at this store, ever, unless they start accepting credit cards.

I love this place! It blew my mind when I heard that there were MORE ROOMS with beautiful antiques. I got an amazing deal on a set of old Pyrex bowls, my favorite, and a beautiful necklace an earrings for my bestie. I seriously can not wait to go back because I had my eye on a beautiful set of tea cups, and some old Victorian pictures.
The lady that runs the place is so nice, and has the store arranged so beautifully. There is something for everyone at this beautiful store!
